💝I find interesting that out of all Venus signs, Scorpio Venus is usually the one to claim that they and their love cannot be bought. So because they have that loyal mentality and integrity, life tests them at least once in their lifetime. I believe the Cancer sun loves the confidence and boundaries the Aries person exhibits and the Arie person enjoys being loved, nurtured and cared for by the Cancer person. Welcome to Jupiter Signs for Beginners: Lesson Seven. This time around we are going to be covering the planet of luck, philosophy, and travel. A closer look at the largest planet in our solar system and what it has to offer us.
What is a Jupiter Sign?
Your Jupiter sign determines how you grow as a person. Where do you set your signs on the horizon of life. It shows where you have the most interest in learning, and growing as a person spiritually. Jupiter wants you to look out into the fields of the world and travel, experience, and grow. Not necessarily be bogged down by the rules. It's more of a directional planet. Putting your feet in the dirt, pointing out to nowhere in particular, and then saying go. One of the things that Jupiter also takes a closer look at is the indulgences that we give to ourselves. Where we are taking more than we are learning, and how we may forgo the learning aspect to favor losing ourselves.
So let's get into it and break it all down- Jupiter, the swirling sea of storms, through all the signs.
The Signs
Aries
Aries within Jupiter are enthusiastic about life. They have the je ne sais quoi of a child. The person who can take what is given to them, and knows that- that is the way they need to go. They look at challenges and the road ahead with enthusiasm that's hard to come by. It gives the mannerisms of a leader. Seeing opportunity and then immediately jumping on it to achieve. They like to be tested, especially when it’s in their face and easy enough to get fast results. This can manifest in becoming overconfident, and egotistical if not well managed. Indulging in yourself too much by constantly being on, can really hinder yourself in the long run.
Taurus
With Taurus the leading principal of Jupiter is long-term stability. There’s a deep understanding that the reliability that they seek and want is only achieved through certain means. Which is letting material possessions come and go. Learning to let go of the possessions that no longer serve in order to preserve the longevity of different items. The road that they travel is one where they seek the most comforts, and they find that they will receive better luck when they are doing their best to let that comfort ebb and flow. However, one of the downsides to having this placement in a chart, is that it can lead to hoarding and being incredibly materialistic.
Gemini
When Gemini enters Jupiter they will find themselves pulled down the road of communication. Often times finding that their luck and want for knowledge lies within that realm. They feel as though they can talk themselves into and out of any situation. They are masters of speaking what they want into existence. Gemini lives very well within the realm of Jupiter often searching for ways to expand and grow their mind. Wanting to experience and grow their intellect to new degrees. One warning with this is that those with this particular placement need to be wary that they don't get a "better than thou" mind set.
Cancer
When it comes to the Crab they find that most of their luck and wealth comes in trying to make their home the best that it can be. Often looking for ways to improve it to get the most comfort out of it. Ensuring that their family is taken care of and nourished, figuring out the ways that they can take care of them better. This is what brings the Cancer the most joy out of life. Ensuring that those they care about have been taken care of to the fullest extent that they can possibly achieve. One of the important things that Cancer in Jupiter needs to look at is that they don't go overboard in giving themselves to others. As overtime it may build resentment and that you haven't looked after yourself.
Leo
When the king of the jungle finds themselves to be a generous ruler, and treats others with dignity and respect. Leading with confidence, and a healthy pride. That's where Leo feels the beneficial aspects of Jupiter the most. Leo taking the spotlight and ensuring that it is shared with others, is one of the most important things that they can do on their journey. As that allows for them to grow their friends, their family, and keep expanding their own circle. However, it is incredibly important that they maintain humility as they lead and give on this generosity. Or they are prone to fall into the trap let out by Leo as usual, egotism.
Virgo
Like Cancer, Virgo feels best when they are of use to other people. Not necessarily those closest to them. But they do enjoy providing practical uses, and important knowledge. The more that Virgo is able to provide the more satisfied they end up feeling within themselves. There isn't really a downside for this placement. More of this understanding that unlike Leo, Aries, or even Cancer. There is no true success or ambition driving them. There's no ultimate reward of satisfaction, just an understanding of what your abilities are and how you can provide them.
Libra
Libra is the great harmonizer, and have a deep need for equality and peace throughout their lives. Which is how Jupiter likes to manifest in their lives. The more that Libra is fair minded, and is equal to others the more they find themselves running into good luck. It helps to expand their horizons and personal philosophies as well. This is because it takes a lot to make a decision, and to really come to an even decision across the board- you have to expand your horizons. One of the things that may happen is that in order to maintain this idea of fairness and equality Libra may start just conceding constantly. This will ultimate hold them back, and they have to be able to make their decisions with a clear mind.
Scorpio
Scorpio is all about the darker and deeper fantasies that are inlayed into the human psyche. Death, taboos, the darker aspects of life- it draws them in and that's how they want to expand their horizons the most. Being able to explore these areas is what helps Scorpio to be able to feel in control of their own deeper tendencies. Allowing for control over their deeper fears, and worries, thus allowing for the freedom that Jupiter offers. One of the most important things that the Scorpion needs to remember in this placement, is that going too far down the rabbit hole isn't the best thing either. As if you truly devote yourself to these darker and less talked about studies, you are opening yourself to personal isolation.
Sagittarius
This is the ruling planet for Sagittarius, and Sagittarius takes it all the way. Travel, philosophy, taking everything that's offered to them and indulging in it whooly. Eating the fruits that Jupiter has to give them. All this growth and expansion brought on by Sagittarius being here, allows for the Archer to build strong morals. When they show tolerance through the things they've learned, and are still able to be generous they are fully living in themselves within the planet getting the full benefits. Sagittarius does need to be careful in the end, if they indulge too much, or forget to be generous- it can lead to a more hedonistic lifestyle. Forgetting the importance of actually learning, and instead focusing on the good feelings. Which holds them back in the end.
Capricorn
The sea-goat thrives under jupiter when they take a focus to their long term goals. The more that Capricorn shows off their maturity, and really lives for their personal success, they find their luck. Capricorn is overall a very responsible sign, and when Capricorn lives their traits in a highly ethical way ensuring they aren't stepping on any toes to achieve what they want, they reap the good karma. Especially when they exercise their talents on a large scale and workout efficient ways to maintain them. They break down the big ideas that Jupiter likes to give and can make it so much easier to understand. If they do this in excess, they can very easily become corrupt in the game for power.
Aquarius
When Aquarius shows off their innovative and out of the box thinking is when they really reap the rewards of Jupiter. The more they utilize their unconventional behaviors, the better. That's where they find the most expansion in their lives. When Aquarius finds themselves to be learning, and bringing about something new for themselves that builds up who they are- it's near magical. Creating a person who is falling into their traditions of the past, and broadening the mind for the future. When Aquarius indulges too much in their own creativity, and forgets to water their humanitarianism. It can lead to the same isolated traits that you see in Scorpio, a self-fulfilling need to indulge in yourself.
Pisces
When the fish live in their charitable, and compassionate selves, they feel right at home within Jupiter. Living on their creativity, and their own intuition can build their philosophies, and create an idealism that goes well into the future. Allowing them to provide new perspectives to people on how the world could be changed to better help people. They find their goals on the horizon are led by the need to fully broaden the horizon not only for themselves, but for anyone they meet. The only thing is that when Pisces indulges too much in their idealism and dreams, they can get lost in the realism that world needs at times. Often opening themselves up to get hurt or lost in ideals that are not possible.
