Planks are some of the best exercises for your core, yet most people do them incorrectly. Planks are especially useful for strength athletes because a strong core is needed to support nearly all compound movements such as squats, deadlifts, overhead press etc. 🏋️One of the biggest benefits of planks is that it builds core endurance. As we do more reps and sets on our compound exercises, our form and technique starts to degrade due to fatigue. 👉This can help prevent injuries. As you get more advanced, you can even add weight. 🎥 It's a good idea to film yourself to make sure your form is correct. ✅A useful cue I like to use is to imagine if you were literally a plank that someone is walking over. For this to happen, the plank has to be flat. - Hope this helps!
