"I wish you could see yourself the way I see you."
Because you've never seen me the way I see myself.
The awareness of my flaws,
The guilt of my faults,
How I let my skin be the test of my claws.
I purposely watch myself fall —
— apart.
I pull myself apart from others when I need comfort the most,
The fear of their reaction to my thoughts weigh the same as gold's cost,
I always wander deeper into my mind – despite being already lost.
I wish I could experience myself the way others do.
I'm apparently both sunshine and rain,
Yet a storm roars in my mind, blocking the sun's view.
