I’m excited to share something that I’ve kept to myself for a while. I believe it’s important to be discreet about it to avoid causing unnecessary friction with family and friends. After my divorce, my ex-wife and I maintained a close connection. She introduced her girlfriend into our lives, and I started an intimate relationship with her, with my ex-wife’s full knowledge and consent. We've openly discussed our partnership, and everyone involved is on board. When we hang out, there’s a positive vibe and no tension at all. It appears we are all satisfied and happy but I can't believe it's happening to me. Happy, fulfilled, sharing, loving, and the communication is on point. It's a lot of work but it's worth it.

Something that always got me about specifically exclusionary-type queer discourse is how often I would see the people doing the excluding saying things like, “stop treating the community like it’s an exclusive club,” as though that wasn’t exactly what they were doing by trying to gatekeep queerness.

I've shittalked the people who keep falling for scapegoating exclusionary tumblr unpopularity cycle crap, but it's worth thanking the people who've been on our sides the whole time. For every blogger who posts hate about the target du jour, there's at least one blog with less followers who's been with us from the start and I just think that's awesome. So yeah, shoutout xxx

in the vein of cishet people invading lgbt spaces and making them unsafe: psa to all poly people that non-monogamy is not lgbt. the only thing that makes someone lgbt is being sga and/or trans/gnc. someone can be poly and lgbt, but poly =/= lgbt, end of story. there are *multiple* cishet polys/unicorn hunters who push for inclusion specifically so they can prey on and have access to the bi people they deeply fetishize, but the community's biphobes ain't ready to acknowledge that yet
