i have a bone to pick with whoever made everyone believe mira is non chalant avoidant and stoic. that is the most chalant girl ive ever seen like.

i feel like her flat affect really tricked some of you because she reacts almost as energetically as zoey half the time her tone just doesn't really change. like they're literally partners in crime idk how u can see them together and think mira doesn't show emotion. not to mention that everytime rumi pulls away or lashes out, you can clearly see her confusion, disappointment or hurt. mira doesn't hid her feelings much at all.

tbh as a fellow autistic i get it cause im not very outwardly reactive at times either just because it feels very weird and sometimes even when im excited i just dont feel like over the top expressions are necessary to show it.

but i will never fall for the non chalant mira propaganda. you want me to believe that the girl that stood outside rumi's door and cleared her throat in the most pay attention to me, im right outside way is non chalant? the girl that stood there all pouty, arms crossed while nervously avoiding eye contact? the girl that waited to be invited in then played it off like sure i mean if u want me in here is non chalant?

avoidant mira baffles me even more. throughout the movie, mira cares fiercely. she's like aggressively confrontational and that's the main source of tension she has with rumi because she keeps pushing for rumi to just tell them what's wrong already. the beauty of mira is that she tries her best to communicate and seek answers even when she's clearly nervous as fuck ( back to her confronting rumi in her room. mira is so nervous to broach conversation. it gives the vibe that they don't have these serious conversations often, but she doesn't shy away and her insistence on honesty and communication only increases as the situation becomes more severe). rumi is the avoidant one of the group if anything. mira is very much the type to feel uneasy until they talk something out or make a move. she refuses to sit there knowing somethings wrong if she thinks she can do something about it.

one day ill free you from the non chalant stoic avoidant allegations mira. idk what to tell you but lovergirl3000 is the most chalant aggressively communicative person on the face of the earth.

Random AU idea before work;

CEO and COO Mira and Zoey Kang are married and in charge of the largest fashion company in Korea.

Ryu Rumi, a longtime friend of the two, is working as an assistant to both of them and as such delivered messages between the two for simplicity’s sake.

Mira and Zoey are wildly in love with Rumi and keep trying to invite her to join their relationship, but are always too cowardly to actually say it and ends up making it seem like they’re joking.

Rumi is in love with both of them, but after they became married as well as her bosses she realized she couldn’t be with them. Doesnt make it hurt less when they “joke” about kissing her until she sees stars.

So what ends up happening is Zoey gives Rumi a hug and asks Rumi to give it to Mira. Rumi does so and Mira melts a little at the fact that she got a Rumi hug (touch averse Rumi ti everyone except Mira and Zoey).

It slowly ramps up from there until at one point Mira pins Rumi to the wall and whispers in her ear that she wants her, before pulling back and asking Rumi to give that to Zoey.

Anyways, dunno how it would work out logistically or if this counts as workplace harassment, (is it harassment if you’re in love and are actively seeking out the messages between your married bosses like it’s breathing because you think it’s as close you’ll ever get to being with them?), but endgame is them kissing Rumi to deliver to the other and her having a panic attack.

After they calm her down and she explains that it’s been worse having them do that stuff because she knows she can’t be with them. They end up looking at each other and agreeing to just be upfront about this (finally) and tell her that they want her romantically.
