Refreshing my memory

I've been skimming my 'Shadow of Steel' fic to refresh my memory as I work on the next chapter - phew! Forgot how long it was, lol. I also keep smiling from time to time as I read - remembering little jokes I put in here or there, how goofy (but loveable) Brooks is, the comradery between Nora & Danse, little 'Nora and Arthur' moments, all the BoS OCs I made... reminds me how much fun I had writing for them all, telling their story and watching their adventure(s) unfold.

...I know it's hardly Shakespeare or Tolkien or anything, but it did bring me enjoyment. And I want to see it through. I want to see how the story ends more than anyone. Maybe people aren't reading 'Fallout 4' fics any more, but that's how I know I really enjoy writing this - because I still want to do it, even if no one were to read it.

...That, and I feel bad for kidnapped Nora and super-stressed Arthur, LOL. ;-)

nora seems to have been watching videos that were talking about her symptoms or a possible illness that she thinks she has. I wish we would know more about her research thus far bc I'm really curious if she actively researched mental illnesses or if she hasn't thought abt connecting her symptoms to that yet.

God, as is, this season would’ve been SUCH a good opportunity to show that some women can be master manipulators and abusers and that men can be abused too. But, I know that wtfock is probably not building towards that story and they’ll probably excuse her behavior by the end and that irritates me to no end.
