I thought SRS felt finished before, but honestly after seeing the finale and becoming inspired to write this final little piece of the story... NOW my baby is finished. NOW it is complete (well when I get these summary chapters finished anyway, ha).

i. the day you finally kissed me, i swear i stopped breathing much like the night you texted me telling me you liked me much like the first time we spoke on the phone together much like when you told me that you dreamt about me much like the first time either of us said i love you -- it was me and it was in a letter, and you called me up on the phone to tell me that you loved me too we swore we'd love each other until the world exploded. ii. the shower steam clouded the bathroom mirror; i wrote our names in the glass in the glass with my finger the waves kissed our feet as we walked along the beach; one hand held yours, the other drew hearts in the sand there aren't love quotes that can adequately describe how we make each other feel so we start writing our own we talk about a future together, what we'll name our kids, how many dogs we'll have, and i believe it i believe you i believe in us because we swore we'd love each other until the world exploded. iii. the world exploded i still can't breathe but it's different now; it hurts now we stand in the wake of destruction, in chaos and in an ending nobody saw coming we've done this we took something good something beautiful and we destroyed it it'd been ruined it's in ruins we are in ruins the world exploded but i still love you
