It's a tasty side dish made with potatoes, fennel, and Parmesan cheese that has been baked to perfection with cream.
Ingredients: 4 potatoes, thinly sliced. 2 fennel bulbs, thinly sliced. 1 onion, thinly sliced. 2 cloves garlic, minced. 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese. 1 cup heavy cream. 2 tablespoons olive oil. Salt and pepper to taste.
Instructions: Before you start cooking, heat the oven to 375F 190C. Mix potatoes, fennel, onion, garlic, and olive oil in a large bowl until everything is well coated. Put the potato mixture in a baking dish and layer the fennel slices on top of each other. Spread the heavy cream out on top of the potato mix. Add Parmesan cheese on top. Add pepper and salt to taste. Place the dish in the oven and cover it with aluminum foil. Bake for 45 minutes. Take off the foil and bake for another 15 minutes, or until the potatoes are soft and the top is golden brown. Enjoy while hot!
