You know when a dictatorship is close when a teacher is arrested for having a sticker on his car that says Fora Bolsonaro (Out Bolsonaro). When the police act violently, even without receiving orders to do so, against people in a peaceful manifestation.

"The protests were largely peaceful, except for Pernambuco state capital Recife, where the police used rubber bullets, gas bombs, and pepper spray to disperse the crowd. Videos circulating on social media appeared to show one protester was shot in the eye by a rubber bullet and police were seen using pepper spray on Liana Cisne, a local councilwoman from the Worker´s Party."

Just to be clear: the man lost his eyesight! And, he's not the only one. Another man was shot in his right eye. Both men weren't even in the manifestation. They were downtown for work.

By the way, Liana Cirne is not only a local councilwoman as CNN says. She is a lawyer and a Ph.D. teacher in a Federal University. The police action against her was cowardly. You can see the moment the police used pepper spray against her below:

This is chaos. It's an absurd.
