Caramel Arrow has issues with the CoD because of what happened with Dark Choco + Affogato is there
Red Velvet for obvious reasons has issues with the side of the ancients + he already has dealt with an blindly loyal woman with arrows before and that didn't went well
Both even with those issues, I feel they would have a certain respect for each other if they are ever crossed in the battlefield because they both have moral codes. They are not inmediatly violent, they both wouldn't attack unless provoked. If the circumstances made it, the could TALK before jumping to battle. And that.... OOOOOH GOD.

Caramel Arrow finds Red Velvet in the snow while doing a patrol. She brings him back to the citadel, but as soon as he's well enough to leave, he's gone -- taking supplies with him.
She thinks that it was weird he left without saying anything, but it passes from her mind quickly enough. He didn't seem especially dangerous, considering how badly dressed he was for the weather.
She's doing another patrol when it happens again. She finds him. Talking to Chiffon. And she just kinda... watches. Because there's this strange guy in the woods who doesn't know how to keep warm, and he has a cake hound as a pet.
It's weirdly endearing, watching this stranger play with his dog, unbeknownst to the soldier watching him from the treeline.
Red Velvet, of course, bolts. Caramel Arrow, naturally, chases after him. Eventually catches him and pins him to the ground. Asks him what he's doing all the way out here.
He mumbles something about a mission and "stupid Choco.."
Consider her interest piqued. None of them had seen hide nor hair of the prince since he left after betraying his father. Dark Cacao was itching for any sort of news, but never stated it outright.
They talk, she lets him up, he shares news of Dark Choco, and waves as he disappears into the snow.
She forgot to ask his name.
She forgot to ask for his name! Oh, Witches, she's dumb.
They keep meeting. He keeps sharing news. She keeps bringing dog treats and snacks from the citadel.
Caramel Arrow never asks about his arm; she's seen stranger. Red Velvet appreciates it more than she knows.
