You couldn't imagine getting hurt by Slade's hand, but you did. Then it all went downhill.

"Titans, Go!" Robin exclaimed, pulling out a bowstaff and launching himself at Slade and his army. Raven assumed you could take care of yourself so she let you be. "Well. Fuck" You mumbled, Slade jumped over towards you, "Well, what a useful little boy/girl/preferred. You should join me, I can show you the unimaginable power you truly have." He said. "I'm good, kind offer though." You said, throwing some flowers to try and hang him up. He dodged and cut them, running at you. You pulled flowers out to launch yourself at the ceiling, he cut them and slammed you at the floor. You gasped, struggling for air, Raven's face contorted into rage. She watched you cough, blood coming out of your system and out of your throat. You stretched your hand out, tripping Robin with flowers. You didn't want him to get hurt. "Stay back." You coughed. "No!" Robin responded, trying to get close to Slade. You threw yourself back up, flowers coming in a swing and gripping under your waist, swinging yourself back up. "Hey! Prick!" You swung yourself at Slade and jumped on his shoulders, trying to pry his mask off. He threw you off, throwing you back on the floor. He kicked you and discarded you at Ravens feet, you sputtered up some blood.

Crack

One of your ribs broke, one easy move, the crack heard although the building. Your small pink lips parted, blood seeping out.

That match was over, and Slade ran away. "Y/n!" The whole team ran towards you, "Dude are you okay?!" Beast Boy said. "Yeah, what Beast Boy said!" Starfire said. Robin ran after Slade, Raven grabbed you, holding you bridal style. She tightened her grip on you, "Let's just get them out of here." She said blankly, the rage hidden under her cloak hood. She didn't let go. You wrapped you arms around her neck, struggling to breathe. She pressed her lips to yours and blew in air. "Raven, make sure she hangs on." Cyborg said. "We need to get back to the tower. Now." He said. "On it." Raven said back, she looked down at you, and started spawning a raven over all of you and teleporting you back to the tower.

Starfire🌟..:

"Y/n, don't fight him!" Starfire called out after watching your brother, Milo, lose at Slade's hand. (Milo is your non-hero brother in this) Starfire gently grabbed your wrist, your pupils were shaking, lips pursed, getting layered in rage and anguish. You broke your way out, jumping into a tree and getting down on one knee on the branch. "Is your dear sister mad, Milo?" Slade said the last word as if an insult. "Y/n, you stay back-" Robin hissed, jumping back towards the titans. "No." You hissed back, "My orders." Robin scowled back. "Try me." You finished it off, and moved in the trees. "Dearest, I do not wish that you do this for your hurt brother." Star breathed out. You stayed quiet, watching Milo twitch on the floor. You jumped off the tree, flowers coming out in still ropes out of your hands, connecting to the next tree on the other side of Slade. You gripped them, wrapping them around your wrist and kicking Slade square in the jaw.

Lucky shot.

"Y/n, stop this, you're going to get hurt!" Robin yelled. Your hands retracted the flowers back, shooting them out at your brother, throwing him into Cyborg's arms. "Take care of him. Please." You said, retracting the flowers back once more.

"What a pity, I thought you would be useful to me." Slade commented. He ran at you, pulling a knife out and aiming it at you. He slung it and it barely missed, just leaving a small mark on your cheek. You slung out flowers, redirecting the knife back at him. "You put up a better fight than Robin does little lady/man/preferred." You scowled at him as he caught the knife, slinging it at your flowers and not missing. He ran at you while you scowled and kicked you square into a tree, you dragged him down with you. The second you hit the tree you both knocked it over. "Y/n!" Starfire cried. You hissed out in pain as Slade punched you straight in the gut. You kneed him straight in the gut in return. He threw you out from underneath him, kicking you and watching your figure roll midair. Then, you hit the floor, landing at Starfire's feet. Star grabbed you and pulled you back up. You ran straight back at Slade, grabbing his mask and trying to pry it off, and failed. He tossed you at a tree, your back slamming the middle of it. You rolled straight onto the floor. Get your ass back up Y/n. You're being a coward. The though shot straight through your head like a bullet. But you couldn't, your body hurt to bad. Slade turned to the titans, "This is what happens to teens who can't keep their hands to themselves." He picked up his knife and sling it straight at your head. "No!" Star hissed, she ran and shot the dagger, Robin ran at Slade, picking a 2nd round with him. Slade skidded away before Robin could get a punch in. Cyborg shot at him while he ran away. Starfire ran at you, picking you up, and she started balling out tears. "Y/n, please tell me that you're okay!" She said, hugging you close. Robin was fuming mad about that fight. "If you had listened, we wouldn't be in this position right now!" He said in an outburst, raising both his arms. "Woah, Y/n, you good?" Beast Boy said. You coughed repeatedly, trying to get the blood out of your airflow. A chunk finally came out after a minute. "Holy shi-" Your now healed brother ran to your side, "Yo, little sis, stay with us." He said, watching your eyelids flutter closed, and shut temporarily.

(Slade took your sister, april in this)

"Titans, Go!" Robin yelled, watching Slade's army come at you guys. Robin kept you within eyesight, making sure nothing hurt you. Before this he had given you his cape, so he knew where you were, so he could see you in his black cape. It was a little big for you, but you still wore it.

"Y/n! Give me a lift, will you?" BB called out. You nodded your head, finishing off the last soldier on your side. You reached your hands out and shot flowers out, tossing him up in the air, creating a swing for him to jump off. Robin raced to your side, making sure nothing was there. "Y/n, could you, perhaps, help me over here!" Starfire called, "On it!" You called back. You ran into the soldiers and brought some down. Making flowers come down to you in a swing formation, sitting up by Starfire near the ceiling. Beast boy finished off his portion of the army. So you pulled him up in a swing. You did it the same with Cyborg, Raven, and Robin. You guys were done for the day, hopefully.

Starfire cheered, "Don't you like it up in the air? Isn't it great?" Beast Boy nearly threw up, Cyborg looked queasy, Raven really didn't care, Robin just looked happy to be sitting beside you. "It- No offense Star but... it's terrible." Cyborg said, looking down at the floor, far underneath them. "Y'all are boring." You commented, helping lower the two boys. "Like watch this. Lend me a hand while I do this, will you Robin?" You stood up in the swing, gripping Robin's shoulder for support. You leaned forward, throwing yourself off the swing. BB audibly screamed and Robin sat back, he's seen you do this before, so he trusted you. He pulled out a thin rope he uses as a weapon, tossing it down for you to catch. You reached a hand out and made the flowers come down and wrap around your ankles. It hung you upside down, right in front of Cyborgs face. You put up he peace sign, "Y/n! That's so not funny!" BB exclaimed, looking mortified.

Clang

Something slammed the back of your head, a thin, metal pipe, not strong enough to knock you out though. You hit the floor, flowers gently tugging you down. "Miss me,Titans?" Slade said, showing up behind your body on the floor. He threw your sister and BB's feet. BB grabbed her, tossing her to Raven.

Cyborg shot at him and Slade dodged, grabbing the back of your cape and pulling you with him. Beast Boy turned into an animal, throwing himself at Slade. Robin had Starfire pull him down from the ceiling. You reached back and kicked slade, front flipped straight out of his grasp just to be able to kick him. You turned to face him, ready to shoot out flowers, shooting them at the sides of you. You launched yourself forward, kicking him upside the jaw. He grabbed your ankle and tossed you back. Flipping back onto your feet, you shot flowers out and moved. "Help me, will you!" You exclaimed, pulling them into the fight. "Ouch, I thought we would have a one on one." Slade said, throwing a dagger at you, slapping you right in the cheek. You redirected it and ran. Robin stood at your side and tossed a weapon straight at Slade. "Ah, Robin, I thought you'd ought to come help your girlfriend." Robin scowled at his words, you meant so much to him. So he would make sure you wouldn't get hurt in this fight, he'd never ever forgive himself.

Wait. This was your battle. You wouldn't let anyone else fight your battles. That's not right.

You shot your hands out, pulling Robin back and stringing him up on the floor. "Y/n what are you doing!" Robin called staring at you. "I won't let you fight my battles!" You called back, slamming yourself at Slade. He pushed you back, discarding you to the wall. You dragged him back with you, punching him straight in the jaw. You attempted to pry off his mask but he took your cape and shoved it over you, blinding you. Prying the cape from your head, you slung flowers at the roof, throwing Slade up at the roof. He threw you up before you fully pulled him up on the ceiling. You let go of the flowers, dragging Slade down first, trying to get him to slam the floor. He and you fought and kicked in the air.

The lights flickered and started to flash, like this fight was a horror movie. Slade pulled a knife out, slamming it right in your stomach. The titans watched you go limp. You let out a breath of air.

Just a second ago, you were so happy, showing them a stupid trick you had come up with. As of right now, you were on the brink of death. Wow, I can't believe that I'm going so soon. And I wondered what my future would look like. You thought.

"Y/N!!" Your sister screamed, looking mortified. Robin ran towards you, your flowers gently pulling you down to the floor. You reached a hand up, catching a flower Slade had cut along the way. You coughed up some blood straight of your system, and the flower immediately turned a deep shade of red.

"I don't feel like playing with you anymore. Bye titans." Slade said, going into the corner of the building and vanishing. Robin rushed to pick you up, pressing a kiss to your forehead. "I'm not going after him this time." Robin said quietly. "We need to get back to the tower. Now." He gripped you, pulling you as close as he could.
