A: The protagonist chooses to corrupt themselves to be with their love interest. For example, willingly becoming a vampire because their lover is a vampire.

B: The protagonist saves their love interest from whatever is corrupting them. So this would be something like Beauty and the Beast where Belle breaks Beast’s curse, returning him to his human form.

(So in K-Pop Demon Hunters terms, either you like Rujinu where Rumi embraces her demon side or Rujinu where Jinu is cleansed of his demon side)

Pity that he seems not to notice it. It's not a polite talk, actually, and he's centered in starting to fire darts her way. He's following his Cold Count scheme and is about to serve her a bunch of ill veiled unjustified recriminations
