Meeting The In-laws & The Arc Family's History.

Jaune: What makes you think that?
Yang: I mean you have this whole knight aesthetic going on for you and you did say that you come from a family of warriors. I always assume that you're loaded.
Jaune: I wish. But grandpa did say that the our the Arc family used to be a big deal in the past. Maybe we used to be rich as you said we were but who can tell.
But now we're just your average middle income family.

Papa Arc: Welcome to our humble abode Yang.
*gives her a bow and kisses her hand*
Yang: Wow I felt like a princess.

Yang: What are those two talking about?
Papa Arc: My wife has been trying for some time to get Jaune and Ruby to give her another grandchildren.
Yang: And you're okay with this?
Papa Arc: I think you know that in this and in every other house. It is the wife that wore the pants.
Yang: I'm surprised you think like that? It's good to know that.
Papa Arc: It surprised me too. While Silv- I mean Ruby, may not be my first choice for my son. If my wife thinks she's a good match for Jaune then I will respect her decision.

Papa Arc: There's nothing to worry about, son. Go in the back and help your sisters set up the table.
Jaune: Oh okay... I'll do just that then. Yang go ahead and make yourself at home.
Papa Arc: Then I guess it's time to introduce you to the rest of the family. You to Ruby.

Papa Arc: Now let me introduce you to the rest of the Arc clan.

Ruby: Jaune, talks about me?

Ruby: We did try to invite them but they decided to celebrate Christmas at Weiss's place.
Saphron: Really. Who would have thunk it? A Schnee heiress and a Belladonna celebrating Christmas together.
Yang: I know right? It surprised me too.
Jaune: Let's talk about the two of them later. So anyway here's my younger sister, Vert.
Vert: Sup... (The thieving sluts have come to lay claim to the Arc family's bloodline)
Jaune: Hey Vert, be nice to our guests.
I'm sorry girls, Vert is in a difficult age lately.
Anyway let's continue on. Here's my other sister, Violetta. She attended some fancy school somewhere, forget the name and she's the same age as you Ruby.
Violetta: Alright which one of you skank are dating my brother?
Yang: Wow, hey now. No need to get agro. (Damn she's hot little thang though)

Jaune: So moving on I would like to introduce you to the twins, Bleu and Indigo.
Bleu & Indigo: Hi!
Ruby: Oh hi to you two. Now if you don't mind I'm going to find an empty room to cry in.
Papa Arc: I can show you a good place. It's my studies, you can bawl your eyes out as long as you like.

Papa Arc: Trust me you do not want to go inside my study. Not now anyway.

Ruby: That's one heck of a creaking sound. Maybe I can help with fixing the door.
Papa Arc: Perhaps later.
Tell me Ruby. How much do you know about the Arc family's history?
Ruby: Not much I'm afraid. Although Jaune did tell us that he comes from a long line of warriors.
Papa Arc: Then we will need to rectify it. Considering that you wish to marry my son.
Ruby: *gasp*

But first I want you to take a look at the painting of our founder. Astorius Arc. The right-hand man of the first King of Vale.
Known for his bravery and skills in battle he cut through waves of Grimms and enemies in the service of the king. And as a reward for his many years of service he was granted lands and a castle not far from here.
Ruby: I knew it. Jaune does have a castle!
So what happened to it?
Papa Arc: *sigh*
It was a long time ago. After the monarchy was overthrown we were forced to give up many of our lands. We managed to keep the castle but without the taxes from our lands to maintain it. It fell into disrepair. Right now it's only a ruin.
Ruby: Oh I'm sorry to hear that... (And I thought I would get to be a princess)

*Ruby glances at a painting depicting a blonde knight fighting a werewolf with silver eyes*
Hey what's this painting about?
Papa Arc: That would be the painting of Astorius fighting the greatest enemy the kingdom ever faced. Besides Salem of course.
Ruby: Who's that?
Papa Arc: Unfortunately the name of this creature was lost in time. But everyone in the family know her as the "silver-eyed bitch"
Ruby: Silver eyes?
Papa Arc: Yes. It is quite unfortunate that you share the same eye color as this monstrous creature.
Ruby: Ye-yes of course. It's clearly just a coincidence.
But who is she exactly and what did she do to be called that?
Papa Arc: Oh, it's a rather long tale and we could be here for some time. But do you want to hear it?
Ruby: *vigorously nodding*
Papa Arc: Very well...
Long time ago.
For generations the land has known only war. Four kingdoms all vying for control over the others have tainted the land in a sea of blood. Unable to witness the death of the common folks any longer. King Ozymandias the wisest and greatest of all the Kings declared a war that will end all war. And that he will not stop until all the four kingdoms are united. Inspired by the king's call to arms, Countless warriors soon flocked to his banner. Human and Faunus, nobles and peasants, good and evil. And one of those that heed the call was the "silver-eyed bitch" herself.
After many years and countless deaths in the campaign of uniting all the four kingdoms into one. The King of Vale finally declared victory and in turn all the other kings soon kneel to swore allegiance to Ozymandias. The King of Kings.
To the vanquished he declared that they can keep their title of "king" as long as they swore fealty to the King of Vale and their descendants for now until forever.
And to the victors his vassals were rewarded with lands and riches for their exploits in the war. All were happy and was celebrating with the gifts they were given. All except for one. The silver-eyed bitch was furious that for all her sacrifice she was only given a small island just off the coast of Vale. And when the silver-eyed bitch demands more the King struck her down.
Outrage and insulted by the king she swore to serve. She made her own proclamation.
"Is this how you reward your most loyal follower, my king?"
"Is this how you treat a friend?"
"I have done everything you asked of me and more. And for that I demand more."
The wise king Ozymandias rejected her demand and as punishment for her arrogance and disobedience. Exiled her and the rest of her clan and retainers to distant land.
Not long after the silver-eyed bitch rose up in rebellion and the King sent his most loyal vassals to quell the rebellion among them Astorius. The two former friends fought until Astorius slain the wolf... But unfortunately many of her kin escaped. Astorius swore an oath that every member of the Arc clan would hunt down her descendants.
Papa Arc: And from that moment on our family throughout history hunted down and murder everyone with silver eyes.
Ruby: Right... *Backs away slowly*
(Oh no I'm alone in a room filled with trophies made from my distant possible relatives)
Papa Arc: Oh it's okay. We don't do that kind of thing anymore.
Ruby: Of course, of course... * Keeps backing away slowly*

Papa Arc: I'm sorry for dropping all of this on you. But you deserve to know everything about who you're marrying into.

Ruby: Wait. What do you know about my mo-
*Ruby's back hit upon the glass case. Containing a familiar sight*

Ruby: *Runs away from the room*

I can't believe this but this is the worst Christmas ever!
Meanwhile at Weiss's residence in Atlas.
Weiss: And this is where we Schnee used to keep our slaves chained and whipped to ensure a steady supply of Dust. By outproducing all the other Dust companies by over 14%. Therefore maintaining the Schnee's dominance over the Dust market for decades to come.
Blake: Weiss.
Weiss: Yeah?
Blake: I think, we should stop being friends.
