Faith (Imaan) also increases by obeying Allah (ﷻ) and it decreases when disobeys Him. So adhere to doing that which Allah has enjoined such as performing the prayers on time in congregation in the mosque, praying zakaah willingly to purify yourself of sin and show compassion towards the poor and needy, sitting with good and righteous people so that they will help you to apply sharee’ah and guide you to that which will bring you happiness in this world and in the Hereafter. Avoid bid’ah and sinners, lest they tempt you and weaken your resolve to do good. Do a lot of voluntary good actions, turn to Allah, and ask Him (ﷻ) for Strength. Pray night prayers, read/recite Qur'an make Dikr... So all the things that Please Allah and especially makes you stand out. This is what made Abu Bakr Assadiq (رضي الله عنها) so highly admired by Muhammad (صلى الله عليه وسلم). He looked and searched for Allah's Pleasure in the things people would not pick in doing. Like feeding and taking care of people who regularly wouldn't be chosen by others. Buying and freeing slaves other people wouldn't normally chose. He looked for special gems while doing the things Muslims are supposed to do. May Allah INCREASE you in Imaan and Help you make up for lost time, may He INCREASE you in goodness and steadfastness on the Straight Path..
