uh, did NOT expect my cumplane art to blow up like it did, so... bone apple queef?
circa 2023
so this was basically my take on a Shen Bros AU (or maybe even a Shared Body AU, where Shen Jiu took over when Shen Yuan couldn't bring himself to yeet Bingmei into the Endless Abyss.)

”Welcome to our domain. We our known as The Creator. I am 2x2. The other one is Builderman”
“I can introduce myself, but thanks”
**************************
This AU is called Shared Body AU, which is a AU where 2x2 and Builderman share a body because Builderman had almost died and 2x2 had needed a physical form at the time.
Here’s their design!
Rules
NO NSFW or anything inappropriate; violence is allowed.
Please don’t bring the Forsaken or any Roblox-related drama into this, thank you.
Might not respond immediately, so please don’t be mad when yours isn’t instantly answered.
Roleplaying is allowed; I am fine with characters from other fandoms and OCs.
Shipping is allowed, unless it is kid x adult, incest, or doesn’t follow any of the other rules.
Magic anons are allowed.
Have fun!
Stuff About The Creator
Both of them are gender apathetic.
2x2 is genderfluid.
Despite their shared body, they still have their own opinions on stuff.
I feel like a fun idea for hsr would be dan heng and dan feng fighting for control over dan heng’s body. Like say DF just like wakes up in DH’s body one day after DH like takes a massive hit and almost dies and the express crew being oblivious bc DF is a magnificent actor and they just assume DH is on edge after almost dying. The real kicker is that like the High Could Quintet (Jing Yuan, Blade, Jingliu) are the only ones who know/suspect it.
Another point could be that DF and DH fighting styles are different so Trailblazer is confused as to why Dan Heng is suddenly so carefree in the middle of a battle not even bothering to bring out his spear and just using cloud hymm magic like it’s no big deal and putting on these extravagant attacks, meanwhile DF is in control and like internally sighing bc this is such a boring fight compared to when he and the high cloud quintet “insert insane achievement here”
Think of like Dan Heng’s hair growing out and Dan Feng REFUSING to let him cut it or like Dan Feng constantly walking around in Imbibitor Lunae form bc he can’t deal with the fact Dan Heng keeps his hair short. Or seeing Dan Heng’s short hair get like styled differently or his clothing style change bc Dan Feng refuses to let him keep dressing like a shut in.
March being simultaneously excited and confused seeing Dan Heng actually looking like a person who cares about his appearance rather than someone who just rolled out of bed and was unfortunately pretty
Even better better whenever one Dan is in control they can actively hear the other one in their heads and like DH now has to deal with Dan Feng judging every single thing he does. Like “are you sure you want to put such a noxious substance in our body” or “I feel as though my plan was superior but do as you please I suppose.”
Bonus points: Is that Blade’s mara stops flaring when DH is in control and only flares when DF is in control so DF is religiously telling DH to like get closer to Blade and like flirt with him bc when he tries to Blade goes into attack mode and won’t listen.
KEPT YA WAITING HUH? WELL BOY HOWDY DO I HAVE A RAMBLE FOR YOU
behold, my AU where i decided that Snatcher has too much trauma and I should give some to someone else except the trauma has very little to do with Snatcher for like 65% of the AU! Also known as the AU where Bow Kid gets a very special friend who is actually a precious little sunshine child who does not deserve this!
gonna put the actual plot below to the cut bc it got long
To set things up, Bow kid gets kicked out of her body randomly one day, and the person now in her body has amnesia with no clue how they got there. The person now in Bow’s body ends up being called “Ribbon” and is an innocent bean who deserves the world except the world keeps punching their face in the face. AU starts a bit before the game.
Highlights of the AU include:
Bow and Ribbon’s only experience with Mafia town is She Came From Outerspace when it was raining and they slipped in mud a few times so neither of them have the best opinion of the place
Battle of the Birds is actually important to this AU, didn't see that coming did you
Picture Perfect is the perfect place for some body dysphoria for both the person in someone else’s body and the person who is currently a spirit
Oh right, Bow is a spirit tied to her body when Ribbon is in the body, that’s fun
The Big Parade results in Hat Kid hurt and Ribbon having too much fun to notice and uh-oh Bow’s body is now the site of a petty argument whoops
Ribbon does Train Rush on their own with Hat and regrets it. SO MUCH. But when they yelled at the Conductor about it he actually apologized and the two had a nice conversation, that was fun
Grooves’ fight is a bit of a turning point bc Bow and Ribbon actually work together to fight him after Hat goes down, also Bow gets a bit distracted when the Conductor shows up with the pecking scissors by which I mean she had a laughing fit in the middle of the boss fight while Ribbon had a bomb on their back; the bomb on ‘Bow’s back scared Hat really bad btw
Subcon Forest’s tagline in this AU is “the place where shit hits the fan”
So Snatcher’s soul contracts are really weird and I don’t know the rules, so I say that the soul taken is whoever signs it (and it has to be the signer's name). This means that since Ribbon doesn’t know Bow’s ‘real name’ (i don’t so neither do they) they sign with their name, Ribbon, while trying to hide it from Hat bc they spent this whole time doing hidden identities shenanigans. Bit hard to hide your body swapping control though! Hat has no clue what happened, but Bow gets her body back! Yay! Except...now Ribbon is out of the body, and instead of being tied to Bow’s body like Bow was, they’re forced to stay with Snatcher because of the sou contract. And to top things off, Snatcher doesn’t know (or care) whether or not Bow completing Ribbon’s contract will count, so he just catches her again at a later date and makes her sign another contract. *Snatcher voice* ‘Oh boy, two for the price of one! What a deal! How kind of you to offer!’ the angst part of the AU ensues
Like I said, Subcon’s where shit hits the fan
I feel like Ribbon would befriend Snatcher they’re just Like That, they’re a good kid, he would probably be an even bigger tsundere around them than the fandom makes Snatcher act with Hat
The real conflict here comes from Bow not sure if she wants to get Ribbon back or not bc then she’d probably lose her body again and she’s forgotten how nice it is to be in her own body, and she was finally getting along with Ribbon decently but she really really wants to stay in her body this time and she promised Ribbon she wouldn’t tell Hat but like maybe she should tell Hat? Maybe Hat can help? And it’s just aaaaaaaaaaa
Hat is honestly just vibin in this AU it’s great
Also I have no clue what to do for anything past subcon lol
Anyways yeah that's all i have right now! I really like this AU because of the secret identities stuff and also identity crises. I chose Bow Kid instead of Hat bc Bow is better and also because I feel like Hat and Bow's fandom dynamic of 'Hat is the gung-ho adventurer and Bow is the mechanic hanging back" works really well for this. I didn't want to do much with Subcon bc literally everyone focuses almost exclusively or mainly on snatcher/subcon AUs and I wanted some variation, so gramps Conductor was born, but then i remembered Snatcher takes souls but it's not clear how it would work if there were 2 souls in 1 body and that is absolutely ripe for angst
(Shared body au) *In there head* Hero: "Its my f*cking turn to talk!" Partner: "Well I'm the one who actually takes care of are body so I think I should have that privili-" Hero: *Out loud* "BANANAS!!!" Partner: *in there head* "Oh way to go! Now everyone's staring at us!"
oh my fucking god, yes
hero and partner having arguments only they could hear and then saying the most random thing out loud and makes everyone else concerned
Aaaaa here’s my work for HQBB2017!! It was so stressful but exciting working on this (and I’m not even done rip)
This is loosely based on Kat Zhang’s The Hybrid Chronicles
Huge thanks to my beta @altimys for all the help, and special thanks to @poeticalcreation for all the yelling and fine-tuning of the initial idea <3
EDIT: Thank you @binuboi for the amazing art!!

He hugs his parents tightly, then steps back and bows deeply. He thanks them for the meal, for the lifetime that he spent with them, for their efforts in bringing him up. He apologises for his transgressions, for the times he’s fallen short, but most of all, he apologises for what he’s about to do.
His mother is tearful, but her voice remains steady.
As always, as always. Okaa-san never wavers.
“Kenjirou, you don’t have to do this.”
“But I must,” he mutters to the ground. “I cannot be a burden onto you or Otou-san, and I cannot bring down this family. You still have Nii-san and Mika-chan, you don’t need me.”
He hears his mother about to rebuke him, but his father cuts in. “You are honourable in choosing this path rather than encumber us. You have my respect, son.”
He presses his forehead deeper into the ground, biting back his words. “Thank you, Otou-san.”
His mother’s arms encircle him then, lifting his weakened body from the ground. He tries not to lean on her as much as possible, to try and walk on his own two feet, but it is difficult.
She aids him to his room, and he lies down, whispering his thanks. She leaves him with a smile and a squeeze of his hands – the most affectionate she will allow herself to be.
At the doorway, she murmurs through the crack, “Your father is right. You honour us in your choice, though you know I wish you had chosen differently.”
He smiles at the door as it closes. “You know I would never have chosen otherwise,” he tells his empty room. “This is my last shot at life, and I am going to take it.”
-----
It is the summer of his nineteenth year, and he is dying.
He doesn’t know why he is the only one affected, but the degenerative disease has been in his family bloodline for generations. He supposes it is lucky that his younger sister didn’t get it, but he still harbours resentment towards it, for taking away half his third year of high school, and any future years of his life.
He remembers captaining the team from the bench for their last few games, of having to pass on the mantle of official setter because ten minutes of setting left him wheezing. He remembers passing on the title of captain too early, because he could no longer hold himself upright in practice, let alone shout and give instructions. He remembers Kawanishi helping him to class and back to their room every day, the looks of pity his classmates and teachers gave him.
He remembers hearing about the medical breakthrough, the call for participants in the final round of pilot studies. He remembers the faint hope it gave him, even as his parents disagreed.
But he didn’t care then, and he doesn’t care now.
It is the last chance for him to perhaps live a normal life, if it is successful. If it is not, he would have died anyway, but at least in this way, he would contribute to the furthering of medical research.
In front of them, the glass doors slide open, the smell of disinfectant wafting out to greet them.
-----
“Thank you.”
“I hope you survive this.”
“I hope so too.”
Kawanishi shakes his head. “I mean, I hope you’ll stay yourself.”
Shirabu smiles self-deprecatingly, squeezing his hand. It is the slightest pressure, though the blond knows he’s trying his hardest. “Brain surgery always has liabilities. I won’t even know if I’m still myself after this.”
Kawanishi huffs in exasperation, knocking his knee against his. “Nice to know you can still joke.”
“I’m being completely serious though.”
“Right, right.”
----
The last thing he sees and hears and smells is all of the operating theatre. It is not white-walled as he expected, nor does the air smell particularly clean, but the lights are definitely blinding, and the neatly laid out scalpels look threatening.
He almost welcomes the cloying smell of isoflurane, sinking into the darkness.
-----
He wakes slowly, but his eyes won’t open, and he can’t move.
He tries to breathe slowly, but can’t seem to regulate his breathing.
(It doesn’t matter, because he seems to be breathing evenly, but why can’t he control himself?)
It feels like an eternity staring into the blackness, but he falls asleep.
-----
He wakes, and thinks he remembers his name.
My name is Shirabu Kenjirou, and I turned nineteen a while ago.
He cannot remember much else, and the world is still dark.
-----
He thinks he dreams. Of maroon jerseys and taped fingers, and the satisfying sound of a ball slamming into the ground. He tries to remember, but it is difficult. Trying to force out thoughts when there is nothing there exhausts him, and he feels wrung out, like someone’s been squeezing his brain too hard.
But suddenly, in the midst of relaxing and an invisible lump in his throat and giving up, the name comes to him.
Volleyball.
-----
This time when he wakes, the world is bright.
His vision isn’t blurry, he is seeing clearly, and he can see a room in his peripheral vision, though his eyes are fixed on a vase of flowers. They are pretty, he supposes, but he is more concerned by his lack of ability to move.
Hello. You’re awake.
It’s definitely not him that thought that – his mental voice isn’t as deep, nor is it that warm and polite.
Who are you? Why can’t I move?
This is weird.
He thinks he hears the other voice laugh, and his body moves, his arm reaching out for a glass of water. The water is cool in his mouth and soothing against his throat, and though it isn’t him swallowing reflexively, he enjoys the sensation.
Do you remember what happened?
No. Not much.
It is true, he thinks. He faintly recalls a head of blond hair, the sound of a ball hitting flesh, and lights, bright white, unlike the warm glow of indoor courts.
Oh. A surgery.
Yes. The other – he thinks it’s a young man – smiles, and sets the glass down. Do you want me to tell you?
No. I want to try and remember.
His forehead against the ground. The antiseptic smell of the hospital. The weakness in his limbs.
I was…dying.
Yes.
A brain surgery?
To transplant your mind into mine.
He recalls more now, of a medical breakthrough, of a call for volunteers, of attempts to meld two minds together to save one dying person.
Oh. You’re my donor.
Yes. Hello.
Hello.
It is so weird, he thinks.
Can I see who you are?
I’ll get a mirror.
The other reaches out, and he watches his hand stretch, noting the corded muscles, the defined forearms, the long fingers.
Then the reflection of light off the mirror catches his eye, and he stares at his new reflection.
Cocoa brown eyes, thick brows, bandages wrapping around a high forehead.
A memory hits him so hard, he’s surprised he doesn’t die again.
He knows that face.
But he can’t remember his name.
Can I look at our medical records? I want to know who you are.
Sure.
He wonders how his mental voice sounds as cool as it does, because he can feel his phantom heart seizing, his imaginary palms slick with sweat.
He knows who his donor is.
The young man picks up the clipboard, eyes scanning the names.
Their names are printed side by side, in adjacent columns. He skims over the kanji of his own name, gaze fixated on the one opposite his.
His phantom heart lurches in horror, the final piece clicking into place.
Semi-san.
“Shirabu?”
The clipboard tilts in limp fingers, but he cannot catch it – he has no strength, he can’t even feel his fingers. Memories are swirling to the surface, and he cannot take the tidal wave of them.
He thinks he hears Semi calling for him, but he has fallen, sinking into the depths of unconsciousness.
STAR VS THE FORCES OF EVIL AU IDEA (HEAVY SPOILERS FOR BATTLE OF MEWNI)
DUDE I JUST THOUGHT OF A REALLY GOOD IDEA FOR AN AU.
Ok, ok, so we’ve got EVERYTHING canon up until Ludo has both Toffee and Star inside him, you know, this?
What if, ok, and I know this isn’t technically supported and I’m not entirely how to work out the logistics, but imagine if... in this option... Toffee regenerates just like he did, coughing out Ludo... and just as promised, this time, he does keep Star alive. They’re not sure what he means, where is she?
... She’s still inside Ludo
But the magic well has split in half now that Toffee left the wand; the wand goo is now half golden and half Toffee, representing all the magic in the universe; it’s suddenly half and half; it’s up to Star.. and Ludo... technically, to overthrow Toffee’s control on that half of the magic.
The AU now gives me a chance to mother hen all over Ludo, a story opportunity for both Ludo and Star, and keeping Toffee as the main villain; the AU has a purpose. Fix the magic and end Toffee.
But mostly, it’d be shenanigans.
Star is only able to keep control of the body half of the time, and under the general realization that Ludo is suddenly, by proxy, being made into the beloved Prince(ss) of Mewni who everyone has to deal with because half of him is their beloved Princess Star Butterfly... he’s ok with this! He has adoring subjects now! And a wand-partner! And magic lessons! And a mother and father figure!
(Moon is a mothering type, River is VERY CONFUSED by this development and is trying his very best but WHY IS THIS HAPPENING!?)
Star can stay in charge for a day, more if she stays dormant for a while, but she’s found Glossaryck in the goo, and built herself a weird magical goo hut type thing (her words) so she’s going to work with this, because it’s better than being dead! Star is the MASTER of looking on the bright side of life.
Marco does not know what he’s going to do now with his best friend (and the girl who has a crush on him and he has confusing feelings for) who is now the monster he’s been fighting for like a year, and soon after a month they figure out what’s going on, because Toffee no longer has the wand in him, he doesn’t have the power, along with how he’s on Mewni, now it’s safer back on Earth.
So it ends up with Star back in school and since she’s only able to come out every day, and Ludo never got a formal education, what the hell, they can’t reject Star from the school; they kept Ms. Skullnick and she’s literally a troll. Along with another trunk of gold and suddenly now everyone’s dealing with Ludo in school.
Brittney and Ludo become BFFs again (in reference to ‘Brittney’s Party’) and Starfan13 starts dressing in corn bags (must always look the part) and Ludo attaches onto her too.
And then you add in the Diaz’s, who are 1000% chill, they’re ok with this, it’s cool, they have no problem with this. They’re legit almost incapable of being thrown off. It’s just ‘ok, Star is now the monster she fought who is also now Star’ and they’re ok once it’s been explained. Seriously, the Diaz’s are supernaturally chill I love them.
Dennis finds his brother because the second he heard that his brother took over Butterfly Castle, he set out to find him, and refused to leave. Now that they’ve rebuilt Star’s extra home addition (which now has a side for Ludo), Dennis refuses to leave and now lives with Ludo, and so do Bird and Spider, who all follow Ludo/Star around everywhere they go like a little flock because Dennis doesn’t want to lose his big brother again and Bird and Spider are too attached to their master. Rafael and Angie are fine with this as long as Star is.
Everything is super weird and they’re all dealing with it, Glossaryck possesses Ludo’s body to write down the spellbook and attend High Commission meetings (the wellsprings flow with Star’s magic, not Toffee’s). Life goes on in weird ways as slice of life continues awkwardly, sometimes Ludo wakes up in a pretty pink dress because Star forgot to get out of it before bed and he has to admit he looks good in it, but overall, everything’s... well, it’s different, but the same?... It’s definitely different. But not necessarily bad.
Meanwhile, Toffee continues his plans for revenge, slinking in the background and waiting for the chance to strike, not sure why this didn’t turn out as he had planned for it to...
no this AU isn’t just an excuse to let Ludo be happy and healthy and have a family, it’s totally a legit idea!...
