First and foremost, want to give a big shoutout to @thegunnsara now that I have finally finished their 3rd place prize with the inclusion of their amazing OC, Ibris. I still love their COVER from the Holiday Special Competition dearly! I'll be sure to slip Ibris into a few more scenes in the future. Sorry it took so long to finally get to him! I took some liberty with what his reaction would be to such a scene... hope I did him justice!

Lives were changed when Shell Shocked played during the end credits of TMNT 2014. Same goes for the song in the end credits of TMNT 2007.

In my AU, the way they meet is when Mikey, after arduous training with Draxum, opens a portal to another world, the world of Miles Morales' Spider-Man. It was a new place, so he explored it and, seeing that it had more places to paint, he started going there constantly until he met Miles.

They both share a love of art and the adrenaline rush that comes from believing they could be discovered painting graffiti on a wall or playing pranks on everyone. They were best friends and confidants, which brought them closer and closer every time they were together.

Miles was the first to fall in love because Mikey saw him as a human being, not as the incredible Spider-Man, nor as a superhero capable of doing anything. Mikey, with the subtle courtship he was receiving, realized things. Maybe he didn't think he was ready for a relationship, but when he saw how Miles devoted his time to him and didn't pressure him, he knew he wanted to be with him.

Well, maybe another time I'll go into more detail about those things :p
