Known as holey stones, Odin stones, hagstones, and other names, stones that have a naturally occurring hole in their center can be used to see beyond the veil or to see magickal creatures that are invisible, such as fae.

I drew that cartoon everyone’s been talkin’ about. #ThunderCats
I wonder sometimes how much of me you see behind my eyes as I look at the world. Do you see how much I care for you? Do you realize when I'm attempting to take your mind in my hands and turn it about, looking for the way I might best fit mine to yours? Do you see the wonder, the fear, the anger as I look about me? What of the weariness, or the hope as I look to the future? What do you see?
Sight Beyond Sight: Session 4
Party Overview:
Tymiea - path of moon witch pegasuar + star peeko
Arthur - eldritch knight human fighter + Lancelot
Nenya - college of lore half-elf bard
Oscar - path of moon witch plant + slug
Last we left off, we had found our indestructible black rock in Blackrock mines and moved it with the spell scroll given to us by the professor. We make our way back to the town of Bohr and prep to leave for the country of Cera, which is where the professor is now. We run into a few merchants who hire us on as bodyguards. Soooo, escort mission!
...not that we actually end up fighting anything. A few weeks of traveling later, we stop for the night and meet a little sentient racoon/ferret being (basically, a Furret from Pokemon). His name is Remington, and he speaks owo (“hewoo, my name is Wemington!”). He’s a fan of our party, who are somehow semi-famous(?). Though he’s really a fan of Arthur, and becomes his squire. AKA, he joins our party. Not that he can do much right now.
We make our way uneventfully to Gatetown, a town on the border of Keletain (current country) and Cera. We’re paid by the merchants and then met by a gnome that Tymiea and Oscar know, who leads us to his closed down shop, where his son is apparently comatose due to a side effect of a spell. He casts a spell to send us into his memories to figure out what happened. We bounce between the party member’s memories before finding the gnome’s son. We find out that the gnome had evidently died and his shop/belongings siezed by the state, and the son had returned home to that information. We exit the memories and the son wakes up, exceedingly confused at our presence. We explain that we had basically been led there by his dad’s ghost. He thanked us for getting him out of the spell (though we didn’t really do anything?) and we part ways.
Aaaaaand, end of session. Aaaand, level up! Nenya gained Sleep as a spell, and a Lore College perk allows 2 spells from any class, so she also picks up the Fire Bolt cantrip and Aura of Vitality.
The party is also torn between wanting to make Remington a path of sun witch, a cleric, or a sanguimancer. We are agreed that we want him to learn some magic of some sort, though.
