Cait's Choose Love photo is in line with the cause. Smiling would look odd and inappropriate.
I genuinely have no idea where some people find this almost charitable impulse to lecture others. To deliver pronouncements ex cathedra, as if they were born with a personal pulpit. Does it come from the belief that someone always knows better? Regardless of whether they actually do - or very much don’t? . . . Looking back at the historical record (see: May 2022), it’s worth noting that the person at the centre of this smiling-or-not debate does smile in a photo tagged #chooselove — but only when a certain blond-haired gentleman happens to be peering into the frame over her shoulder. That’s the moment when the smile magically appears.
. . . Now, let’s take a look at the instance when the smile suddenly goes missing ⬇️⬇️⬇️
. . . And truly, when has a smile ever been classified as inappropriate in any charitable context? A rhetorical question, obviously.
