Reason why Petunia Dursley spoiled her son Dudley?

The answer is simple even if he turned into a spoiled brat.

Other than love, Petunia didn’t want him to feel unwanted like how she felt when she was a child when her parents supposedly focused more on Lily and ignored Petunia. Petunia didn’t want her son to feel abandoned like she did.

Ron and Harry were both dyslexic, Ron’s being much more debilitating than Harry’s, and neither boy had a singular clue about what was wrong with them. Ron just thought he was stupid, everyone in his life had been telling him such because of it for years. Up until revisions for OWL exams rolled around, and Ron was at his breaking point, shoving books away from him and refusing to read a single thing, Hermione finally snapping at him.

“Stop acting like a baby,” Hermione scoffed, and Ron, tears stabbing at the corners of his eyes, turned on her with a wildly offended look in his eyes. Harry pushed up his glasses, hiding into his book.

“I am not acting like a baby!”

“You are!”

“It’s not My fucking fault the words move around, ‘Mione! The words don’t mean shit and the letters are all jumbled it’s bullshit! It’s not my fucking fault!” Hermione’s annoyance had dissipated after the first sentence, now just staring with wide eyes. Ron caught his breath, digging the butts of his palms into his eyes.

“Ron.” Ron scoffed, turning away.

“Go ahead, call me stupid-”

“Ron, you’re dyslexic,” Hermione heaved in a breath, sitting back in her seat. Ron squinted, accustomed now to Hermione using big words, and awaited an explanation. “It’s a disorder, Ron, it just means you have issues with reading, it’s okay.” Harry peeked over his book, glad the both of them had calmed down, but also intrigued.

“I don’t have a disorder,” Ron instantly argued.

“It’s not a bad thing, Ron-”

“No, that means there’s something wrong with me!” Ron retaliated.

“There is nothing wrong with having a disorder, Ron! So man people have them, multitudes of people!” Harry hid back behind his book, praying the two wouldn’t turn on him for help.

“So?” Ron shouted back, throwing his arms up. “Doesn’t make it any better!”

“It’s normal, Ron! Completely normal! Trust me on this!” Ron caught his breath, shoulders heaving with the severity of it. He carded a hand back through his hair, blinking at Hermione. Harry peeked back over his textbook. “I can find spells to help with it?” Hermione offered softly, wanting to meditate while also assist. Ron and Hermione stared at each other.

“That’s embarrassing,” Ron heaved.

“It is not. Receiving help is not embarrassing.” Ron stared at Hermione. Ron turned his head.

“Sure. Sure you- you do that.” Hermione nodded. “I’m…” Ron heaved a breath, rubbing his forehead. “I’m going to go shower,” he grumbled, turning on his heel. Hermione turned on Harry, who quickly hid behind his book.

“Oh don’t even Harry! You have to be on my side about this!” Harry peeked out from over his book.

“This is a Ron issue…not me,” Harry said, supplying a thumbs up. Hermione crossed her arms, scoffing. Harry glanced at the words of his textbook, squinting. “Whatever spell you get for Ron, tell me it.” Hermione turned on Harry, blinking.

“You mean to tell me you’re dyslexic too?”

“You act like I know what that means, ‘Mione.”

“Oh my god how did I never know. The amount of essays I’ve proof read for the both of you and I never caught on oh my god-” Hermione continued rambling as she rushed out of the common room, arms moving drastically. Harry blinked before looking back at his textbook, reading the words with his finger.

Headcanons (And some spoilers?) of my universe where Harry brings Regulus back to life in his second year:

Harry and Reg bake together at 3 am cuz that people don't sleep like normal persons and most of the time they have nightmares.

They also sleeps together often, specially when the nightmares got too bad.

Harry likes to braid Regulus hair

Regulus punch Snape in the face in front of his entire class when Harry told him about the teacher's treat against him.

Regulus punched Sirius for not trusting in Lupin just because he was a werewolf. Then he proceeded to redact his law project to give rights to every magic creature cuz clearly everyone else is completely incompetent.

Regulus and Harry went together to get matching tattoos cuz, ya'know, fuck it.

Sirius hugs Regulus everytime he gets the chance. Regulus pretends that he hate it. He doesn't.

Harry and Regulus bake a chocolate cake after every full moon to cheer Remus up

Regulus calls Snape an incompetent at least twice a week (Hey, he needs fun, ya'know?)

He hates Molly. Okay, maybe not hate her, he just aren't specially pleased with her presence....And he has a lot to say about the way she and Arthur raise their children.

Harry and Regulus love to make suicidal jokes. Maybe that's the reason why Molly is constantly upset wit Reg. Or maybe cuz he told her that children were humans and no objects. Who knows?

De-aged Sirius

Sirius getting de-aged and joining Harry in fifth year (Possibly to be his bodyguard, 'cause he's not doing anything else anyway) AU

• Doesn't know too much about muggles? He practically grew up at his wizard friends house, who was also sheltered due to poor health. Where are they now? Oh, they're finally well enough to go to school and decided to study abroad. Since the neighbors kid was gone, their parents stopped teaching, so now he's at Hogwarts

• Who was their family? Smith, the dad was muggle so no identifiable wizard name. Mothers maiden name? Never thought to ask

• He could live with Harry in his dorm

• Unless he's sorted into Hufflepuff because DAMN THAT BOYS LOYALTY

• Gets more detentions so that the quill will scar and he has PROOF Dumbledore look she has to go!

• Umbridge gets arrested

• Cheering SO LOUDLY for Harry during quidditch (sometimes when it's just practice)

• Sirius still being immature and Harry accidentally becoming more responsible as a result

• They take care of each other

If Sirius/Harry

• Sirius starts fancying Harry and feeling conflicted because 'That's my godson dammit...'

• A lot of internal angst

• When things go south with Cho (it'll happen with or without Umbridge) Harry's like "I think I'll try boys for a while"

• Sirius offers to be a test date

• Starts in Three Broomsticks and is basically just them hanging out (That's all a date really is), ends with them in a dim corridor, Sirius teaching him how to kiss

• Angst ON BOTH ENDS

• Harry already found him attractive but now he's just like 'Shit' because he's starting to really fancy Sirius and 'That's my DOGFATHER what is WRONG with me!'

• Starts avoiding Sirius because he feels guilty about fancying him, Sirius feeling even more guilty when he starts doing that and giving him some space but also trying to be there for him

• Harry being upset that Sirius didn't show up for practice 'he's always there...' and confronting him, Sirius kissing him and then running

• Harry finding him and they TALK, FINALLY!!

• Cue awkward and tentative relationship

• They get more comfortable around each other and something slips, Hermione and Ron find out, they do NOT approve

• They eventually tolerate it because it's Harry's choice and he's HAPPY

• Summer comes and Ron accidentally slipping up at dinner one night and Remus and Mrs. Weasley find out

• Sirius and Remus have a row that lasts WEEKS

• 'You're his GODFATHER! You're twenty years older than him!' 'We're the same age now!' 'Only in appearance, and even younger in maturity!' 'Blast it all Remus, we're HAPPY together, do you know the last time I was ever happy?!'

• Mrs. Weasley adamant that Sirius is taking advantage of Harry and 'the poor boy doesn't know what he's doing'

• Her screaming at Sirius every chance she gets

• Harry feeling guilty as hell for causing so much conflict

• Ron and Hermione still don't really approve, but they snap little remarks and try to defend Sirius and Harry

• Harry hearing Mrs. Weasley calling Sirius a pedophile behind Sirius' back and he just SNAPS

• He starts yelling at her so loud everyone else who isn't already there comes down

• They're gobsmacked. Harry's yelling at her, saying how she has no right to talk about Sirius that way, much less in his own house! Harry can make his own decisions, and if he chooses Sirius then it's none of their business but their own. He just keeps laying into her about how horrible she's being

• Sirius is amazed. He pulls Harry away because he's so worked up and takes him upstairs and sits on a bed while Harry rants and paces back and forth and when Harry's finally done and spent, Sirius holds him kisses him and thanks him

• Things mellow out in the house after that

• Remus begrudgingly accepts it and offers his support

BONUS

• When Remus and Tonks are fancying each other but Remus uses his age as an excuse Sirius is just like 'I'm twenty years older than my lover, what's the difference between you two, fourteen? That's nothing, at least you're both legal'
