Reverse Hallmark au where James the sad "got dumped on Christmas so what i hate it" country boy visits his relative in the city and accidentally meets his two month ex boyfriend in highschool Regulus(basically code for true love in Hallmark) that's a whatever something in a company that's near a promotion and Regulus shows him different stuff to do in the city, like shopping for angel trees, going into laser tag, ad tasting new holiday flavors from coffee shops. And oh what? James is really good at this stuff in Regulus' company because it turns out owning a pinecone shop back home taught him skills?! And him being there helps Regulus get his promotion?! And aweee he needs to get back to his home in the PineTree hills where the mayor is a stag... But just as he was about to board his plane, the cashier at this convenience store gives him a random advice that was supposed to be a throwaway line about a gum?!
