What kind of representation do you think Superlad from Supergirl (1974) Issue #10 by Carry Bates, Art Saff and Vinnie Colletta depict or could be reintroduced as?

"So, I recently finished reading threeboot legion and i really enjoyed it. For more context on where Jim Shooter was going, I read his entries on his blog and I really liked the idea of Super-Lad that was brought up. Later, Nvz had told me of another post on his blog that included a sketch and some more details on him. I decided to ignore and keep some things, because I wanted the House of El ancestor to have some more differentiation from Superman, whereas Jim was too married to the idea of having traditional Superman/Superboy in the league with his ideas hinging too much on the oldest unchanging superman elements. With all that said, I chose the colorscheme because I wanted the colors to be different than the traditional tricolor, and green and orange called out to me, and coincidentally were colors i saw in inverted pictures of supergirl while reading other comics. The House of El crest i had wanted to be more abstract, but it was hard to come up with something good but recognizable or just stealing the MAWS one, so i just went for something slightly stylized from normal. Might not be too noticable, but I wanted his face to read different than the traditional superman look, and the purple hue came from wanting to be slightly to the left of that as well."
Batman and Earth-11′s Superwoman, Batwoman, Superlad, Big Bard, and Miss Miracle in Superman/Batman #23-24
The knowledge that Jack Larson (Jimmy Olsen, Adventures of Superman 1952-1958) dated Montgomery Clift has been life changing.

“If you need that much help in order to move the car, maybe you should call Superlad. He’d be willing to help. I’m not... that much helpful.” Kieran pointed, bracing himself and the carpet in his hand, feeling bad at being right in front when the other’s car turned off. Yes, he was a mass of muscle, tall and strong in appearance, but he was meant to not be so much. Trust me when I say, refusing help was extremely hard for him. But it was not something he could avoid saying was it? At least a first. He couldn’t just vanish off of his position to aid in moving so. He was regretting taking his time back into town from the dessert. Really regretting it so.
I just like this drawings/pages/ilustrations. I think they're neat. 😘
