Star Wars: Rebels (2/?) - Rex, Gregor, and Wolffe
Star Wars + Text Posts & Headlines
Watching Rebels as a fan of basically everything else Star Wars (especially animated)
I have heard a lot about Star Wars Rebels. namely a lot of good, a lot of bad, and... a lot of spoilers.
I have also already watched (part of? all of? can't remember) season 1, right when it came out, at the ripe old age of almost 8 years old, looking for something to fill the Clone Wars shaped hole in my heart. Safe to say kid me wasn't impressed.
To say i remember the reason would be disingenuous, (because i don't) but i think the lack of clones, the thing that mattered the most to kid (and current) me, probably had a lot to do with it.
My dad, who had introduced me to star wars, and who had watched all of clone wars with me, including rewatches, also wasn't particularly swayed, and so, after watching a bit (maybe all, again, i don't remember) of season one, we just... stopped, and started yet another rewatch of Clone Wars, to cope with the loss.
why watch it now?
great question, there are some reasons.
First, i'm in a very star wars phase of my life right now. Compared to normally that is, where i'm just in a star wars phase.
I have thus started craving new content, and even though i am playing Jedi Survivor, that's just not enough.
Secondly, my amazing wonderful beautiful breathtaking girlfriend got infected with the star wars virus by me, and is enamored by both Ahsoka and Maul. So Rebels is kind of a must (or so i think, haven't watched their parts yet) for her. since i'm acting as a sort of "guide" and answering her questions, i want to know what i'm talking about.
third point, compared to what i had in terms of build up when Rebels came out (that being 5 seasons of Clone Wars i could understand and a 6th one my dad had found sailing the high seas for me before it released in italian because i wanted to watch it THAT BAD), i now have a much more comprehensive arc for most of the characters and events that do end up being in the series. i have Bad Batch with Kanan, Hera, Gregor, Rex and Wolffe (even if very minorly), the end of Clone Wars to contextualise, and i actually care more for the rebellion and their struggles more since watching Andor.
Let's get into what i know because of spoilers:
All the characters that appear before or after in this post obviously appear in the series and i know about them. Bummer, i know.
Kanan becomes blind?? (or he just uses a sleeping mask all the time which would be weird, 90% sure)
Hear and Kanan are in love with eachother (70% sure about this one)
Ahsoka and Vader meet. (100% sure)
Maul dies at the hand of Obi Wan (no clue if Obi Wan is in the series exclusively to kill Maul or if he has a bigger involvment, i think him and Ahsoka meeting after they both have clashed with Vader and talking about it would be extremely interesting) (100% sure)
There's something called the world between worlds. No clue what that is. Except for a world between other worlds which implies by itself the existance of multiple worlds (??) Mortis didn't prepare me for this. (100% sure of its existance i know nothing about it)
There is a huge moose(?) with a kabuto helm(??) which is force sensitive(???) (???????)
I will try to be constant and update every episode? or arc? idrk yet. sometimes in the future, probably.
I was talking about Rebels with my brother because I’m recently rewatching it, and I got to season 2 where Rex, Wolffe, and Gregor appear.
But my brother was trying to convince me it was Cody, to which I said “no, the crazy squeaky one is Gregor”
…sorry Gregor.
HAPPY MAY THE 4th!!!!

SIDE 1A: ROUND 1: Fenton Crackshell-Cabrera (Ducktales 2017)/Clover Ebi (RWBY) VS Gregor (Star Wars the Clone Wars)/Harley Quinn (DC Comics)
Which crossover ship do you prefer?
Fenton Crackshell-Cabrera/Clover Ebi
Gregor/Harley Quinn
Propaganda for Fenton Crackshell-Cabrera/Clover Ebi:
Okay so, I don't know if you've heard of it or not but there's this roleplay I do with my buddy called DTLS, okay, so, when we started I'd planned on having Clover in a secret relationship with Cinder (I know, I know, but I was feeling really spiteful about both of them and making them both straight seemed like a power move) BUT then my partner was like "tee hee what if Fenton has a crush on him as a fellow superhero?" oh by the way, he's a superhero in this crossover, anyway, so I thought "hee hee we can have funny unrequited silliness" but then at the end of their first thread my boy was like "sike guess what" and decided he was going to date Fenton actually, and fuck my plans, and I was all "whaaaaaat" but I let him, anyway long story short now they're engaged and they adopted a penguin girl who stowed away on the Sunchaser on the way back from Antarctica.
Propaganda for Gregor/Harley Quinn:
Gregor does not have a no killing rule. While I admire the Batfam for their stance and so would Gregor, it's not a rule he follows. He's also a highly competent, specially trained soldier of the greatest army ever. So he will be putting those skills to use to kill the Joker. There are many reasons for that, not least of which is all the abuse Harley has suffered at the hands of the Joker. Gregor isn't letting that clown hurt her again.
Gregor is an absolute mad lad in the best way possible. He can match Harley's energy and would love to be a part of all her hijinks.
Harley thinks Gregor's laugh is cute. He might not be able to control it, and when he's frustrated by that, she's ready to support him. She knows he's not trying to be a jerk when he laughs at the worst moments (unlike a certain ex of hers.)
They would wreak absolute havoc together. Become one of Batman's biggest headaches that he doesn't actually want to get rid of. Gregor already has plenty of experience working outside of and running from the law as a rebel.
They would teach all the local kids how to swear in Huttese and Wookie.

I’m 99% sure Gregor never had his chip activate due to the sheer amount of times that man has received head truama. His brain isn’t even supposed to be working at this point. There’s no way that chip can function.
