Reminder for all of you

Not knowing something about a character or source you’re from does not make you any less valid as an introject/kin/irl

It’s okay to find out more about yourself, it’s okay to adapt based on new updates to a source, it’s okay if you simply forgot or never knew in the first place.

And for others, don’t be mean about it when someone doesn’t know something about themself. It’s not cool.

reminder to all systems out there:

fictives who have diverged from their source are valid.

fictives who have not and will not diverge from their source are valid.

fictives who don't want to be associated with their source are valid.

fictives who want to be treated like their source are valid.

fictives who don't like their source are valid.

fictives who enjoy engaging with their source are valid.

fictives who have exomemories and/or exotrauma are valid.

fictives who don't have one or either of these are valid.

fictivehood is not one-size-fits-all and thats okay !! as a fictive-heavy system (and in this case an all-fictive subsystem), we're all a little different in these areas and that's not a bad thing.

can we normalize alters using just things they like or characters/people they like without the immediate assumption that they're an introject of that character/person...

i say that cuz Ozzy uses Kokichi as his pfp on like proxy bots cuz his FC is the bodies face and he isn't about to share that willy nilly, yet people assume he's a kokichi introject cuz of that..he's not, he's brainmade..

and like i CANNOT find a good pfp for myself, i have an idol that my characters design was based off of, but it always looks off to me..then i have our art of me but it also looks off when put into a pfp..so i wanna use smth like Ceil or Near without people assuming i'm an introject of either of them...

i think the solution is to die
