System Maintenance by 毒瘤 zhongguoduliu (tumor)
I don't know who needs to hear this, but if the phrase "self care" doesn't resonate with you, try calling it "system maintenance" and see if that clicks.
be purposeful with your wellbeing
this could include:
let yourself move to music however you wish
doing small stretches during periods of waiting
celebrate when you do a task
reflect on the joyful mundane
ask: what is one thing you can do in this moment to make yourself more comfortable?
set aside time in your schedule to do whatever the fuck
i need everyone to remember that you can just make a craft with whatever you happen to have right now. it doesn't have to be anything useful or even particularly pretty. you don't have to have a reason beyond "i wonder what would happen if i took this and that..." or "i wanna see what i can make". notice the shapes and textures and colors and materials you have to work with. take stock of your tools or just pick up whatever you think will do the job. set aside a small workspace for yourself or sprawl out in a large area. do it right where you are now or move to a dedicated spot. think through your process before you start or wing it from the get-go. just do it. make something. hold it in your hands. sit with the weight of it. i made this.
arts and crafts might not save your life, but it's still worth a shot.
I currently have the mental elasticity of a large frozen turkey
my brain needs to thaw for a few days in the refrigerator before it can be used in any meaningful manner
POV: You just restored your system’s flow. 🌊⚙️
We’ve been conditioned to accept the "nighttime wake-up call" as a mandatory part of getting older. We’ve been told to tolerate a weak stream, constant bladder pressure, and interrupted sleep as if they’re just the inevitable friction of a long life.
But "discomfort" isn't a requirement of your biology. 📉🌙
Frequent trips to the bathroom and that "nagging" feeling are signals that your Internal Fluidity is being constricted. To reclaim your comfort, you don't need to "just live with it"—you need a Structural Intervention. It’s about optimizing your prostate and urinary tract so your system runs quietly in the background, exactly as it was designed to.
Hear me out:
Try calling house cleaning,
Entropy management.
Heh? Eh? It gets me past the IDONWANNAS
