I was set on giving myself a rest day on Friday, but I didn’t even have to change at work, and I was pretty bored so I just went for it anyway. I did an arms session as well as sitting on the stationary bike doing random hills on level 11 for 15ish minutes before I left early.
I desperately needed a mental health break, since I had been doing well with physical health but hadn’t really taken a real rest in a few weeks. I decided to hang out with some friends in the Yunk, eat junk food, and watch silly movies on Netflix. It was much needed. Though I realized Indian food (which we ordered even though I was somewhat hesitant and would’ve rather had pizza) makes my stomach queasy.

I had my longest tempo run today, but wanted to do abs work before I went, so Ani and I went for Dynamic Core T25. It had been a while since I’d done T25, and I forgot how sweaty and exhausted you get lol. This one didn’t have any burnouts though, so I still felt ok to do my run. I took a few minutes to stretch, change my shirt, and catch my breath before I set out. I was a little daunted by how fast I was supposed to go, but I actually ended up averaging way faster per mile, despite how tired I was at the end of mile 3. Hype for working til exhaustion!
I was really hell bent on properly meal prepping for this next week, so I ventured to Whole Foods and other shops to grab some last minute veggies and more Halo Top (deh). I have a lot of good stuff on the list for this upcoming week, but today I decided to go with turkey meatballs with teriyaki zoodles 😋 unfortunately, like last time with the sauce I made for them, the zoodles got so soggy and inedible after a few minutes of sitting in it. I really need to find out how to cook them without making them all gross :/ but the meatballs and teriyaki were great! Maybe next time I’ll just go with pasta like my body wants to hehe
