Some potentially triggering stuff under Starscream.
Everything under the cut so it doesn't take up space on the dash.
Might add more stuff later.
Wheeljack
- has chronic pain from blowing himself up so many times
- has joint pain in his servos from wearing down the joints with how much tinkering he does
- has a FWB situation with Ratchet (neither one wants anything too serious during the war)
- has trouble sleeping because of nightmares / PTSD
- doesn't enjoy refueling and only does it as often as absolutely necessary (lets his tanks almost fall to empty on a regular basis)
- prefers to fuel directly through his energon fuel lines (think IV for humans) instead of refueling the usual way
- Ratchet has snuck sedatives into his energon on more than one occasion when he's noticed WJ hasn't recharged in a while
- often ends up recharging at his workstation on accident because he goes days without recharging or refueling while working on projects
- emotes with both his finials and winglets
Skywarp
- has a high metabolism / needs extra fuel rations because of his warping ability
- often steals Star's energon rations when they pile up from Star forgetting to refuel
- his weird rivalry with Rumble has ended up with them fragging on more than one occasion
- pulls pranks on Star and TC because they both get caught up in their projects and forget to give him attention
- is probably the most loyal one of the 3 to the Decepticon cause
Thundercracker
- is hard of hearing due to his Sonic Boom ability
- sometimes uses comms to communicate in louder environments where he is having trouble hearing
- Star and Warp always keep their comms open to him for this reason (and it is also easier to communicate over comms when flying anyway)
- obviously loves writing in his spare time and often ends up daydreaming about his writing during war meetings (he passes off his daydreaming as having trouble hearing everything and Star usually gives him a written summary)
- doesn't really care for the Decepticon cause either way, but sticks around for Warp and Star
Starscream
- has spark pain from his immortal spark (also doesn't know he has an immortal spark until he dies at least once - may take him even longer to figure it out)
- despite all the dramatics and self-praise, he secretly has really low self-worth and self-esteem
- misses being a scientist but won't admit it outloud
- gets into politics because he's a control freak (he also does want to see Cybertron prosper and returned to its formal glory but that gets clouded by his own ego)
- has a lot of chronic pain from being beaten by Megatron so many times (doesn't tell anyone about it / would never admit it)
- tends to self-harm when things get out of his control / he gets anxious (tearing at his own protoform and plating and scratching at himself)
- is extremely paranoid (his irregular recharge and refueling schedule doesn't help with that)
- gets caught up in his scheming and planning and projects for hours / days and forgets to refuel and recharge (which exacerbates his paranoia and mania)
Hi there, fellow Transformers Fan!! Out of curiosity, do you have any (sfw of course!) headcanons for your favorite ‘bot or ‘bots? Or ‘cons, even?
Great question! Uh... well this is kind of difficult for me to answer because I have a ton of favorites and I'm making my own iteration of Transformers, but I'll do my best to answer this for the cannon characters.
-Blaster and Jazz have a music appreciation club where they get together once every couple weeks and exchange music they've found they think the other will enjoy.
-Blaster always has headphones on and plays his music so loud that those around him can hear it faintly when they get within a few feet of him; it takes people a few tries to get his attention a lot of the time and he also just sort of grooves out to whatever he's listening to when he doesn't have anything else he needs to do.
-Rewind has so much info stored in his database that it sometimes takes him a minute to retrieve information. He would also be the ultimate champion of Jeopardy if he was ever given the chance to be on the show.
-Wreck-gar collects trinkets like a crow does. If you give him a cool little trinket he will reciprocate by giving you something in return.
-This one is a common one but Starscream, Skywarp and Thundercracker are triplets but Starscream takes the role of the oldest sibling, Thundercracker takes the role of the middle sibling, and Skywarp takes the role of the youngest sibling.
-Laserbeak talks a little bit like a parrot. Buzzsaw talks like a normal bot but Laserbeak has the inflection of a parrot; tilting his head a lot and speaking in somewhat broken words if that makes sense.
I hope you enjoyed these! I have more but these are just the ones I could remember off the top of my head lol. Thanks so much for the ask! :)
How would the autobots (adding wheeljack to the list if you could! I know he’s an autobot but I know some creators forget about him sometimes!) react to there charge being this tiny (4’9 85 Ib) farmgirl who can do it all? (Drive tractors, back up trailers, fix the machines, throw around heavy 90Ib hay bales like it’s nothing? It’s ok if your not comfortable writing for it!
A/N : hello ! thank you so much for requesting and reading the rules before hand. This is my very first request so I’m very excited. This is very interesting, and I had to do a few research. I hope I didn’t ruin it, and hope you like it !<3
When Optimus saw you approach the stack of bales, he immediately went to lend a hand. He would be lying to say that he didn't enjoy helping you. Not that he would say it out loud, but nothing makes him happier than seeing your eyes lit up in awe at him. Yet, you beat the Autobot leader to it by lifting the heavy bundle with no struggle, humming to yourself as you transport them back into the barn. For a fragment of a second, he was stunned in place, optics slightly widening. Before feeling guilty for having underestimated you, if not a little shy, for thinking that he could impress.
Ratchet barely spends time outside of the base, but he would make a few exceptions for you, usually under the guise of having to keep an eye on his human charge, when in reality everyone knows it's because he has grown fond of you. Before he could comment on just how dangerous the environment was for a 'small' and 'helpless human', you went over to start the engines of your tractor - driving it with ease even if the sight immediately sent Ratchet into a panic. Yet after reassuring him several times, the medic could do nothing but watch you in surprise, wondering about just how strong you really are. You had to remind him that he's been staring, and that was enough to send him into a flustered fit of grumbling.
It was hard to keep Bumblebee away from the farm animals, as he was apparently fascinated by them. He would let the chickens hop onto his arm and the ducks crowd his legs. You had even spotted him amongst the sheep too. So when you went over to ride your horse, Bumblebee was not far behind with a warning, beeping in what you could only assume was worry - considering that he knew what they did to one of the inexperienced caretakers working in your barn. Yet you assured him that you could handle it, and the scout could only clap at the sight of you taming the animal twice, no, thrice your size. His doorwings fluttering in both surprise and pride.
You knew the moment you went over to move the bag of rice, Bulkhead was silently begging you to ask for his help, but just like every other time, you refused. You politely explained to the big Mech about just how capable you are. " But you're so...tiny !" He explained, worry in his voice. Yet, you proved him wrong by moving them with ease, not once collapsing under the weight in a way that he thought you would. After a few tries, he finally calmed down, accepting the fact that you got it under control. If Cybertronians could blush, he would be red all over, embarrassed that he had underestimated you. All in all, he's very proud and had bragged about it to Miko once you got back.
When Arcee saw you with the shovel, she had immediately offered to drill the holes for you instead. While it would save a lot of time and effort, you gently declined her offer, wanting to use the opportunity to let out some steam. Arcee was less verbal when it comes to expressing her concern, preferring to stay quiet and watch from a distance. And so she reluctantly let it slide, expecting you to call her five minutes later. Yet, she was proven wrong when you barely broke a sweat an hour later. All in all, she wasn't as surprised, considering that humans were full of surprises. She also knows what's it like to be underestimated, considering that she's one of the only two-wheelers fighting this war. If anything, she's proud to know that her human charge can take care of herself, and it puts her overprotective soul at ease, for now.
As playful as Smokescreen was, he was also very helpful. Growing more and more attentive each passing day. So when you asked him to come to the farm, he gave no second thought to it, excited to help you out with your tasks. The rookie was secretly looking forward to using this as an excuse to show off, knowing that there needs to be a lot of heavy lifting. Imagine his disappointment and surprise to see that his little human was more than capable of chopping wood on her own, splitting the lumber in two with no trouble. When you catch him staring, he made a mental note to never underestimate humans. The poor boy was embarrassed, considering that he already bragged to the team on how he's going to spend the day impressing you. Oh, how the tables have turned.
As stoic as Ultra Magnus was, he was observant when it comes to you. He knows that a human your size would most likely have trouble in herding the livestock. He doubts you could even fish water from the well with your stature. The commander was very rarely proven wrong, so he didn't hesitate to offer you his help. " I believe I am more suited to carry this for you." You couldn't help but laugh at his offer, kindly telling him that this was nothing short of a routine. You could see his face shift from one of confusion to fear. As if he thought you would fold like a paper crane under the weight. After a while, you caught him watching you with what could only resemble as pride and respect. And it makes you happy to know that you've made it into his small list of individuals he would never again underestimate.
When Wheeljack saw that you were going to tend to your farm, he had offered to come with, bragging about how you would need help from a 'big strong Mech.' Throughout the trip, he had grown a bit cocky. You stayed quiet, letting him savor his little moment. He only stopped talking when you started saddling your horse. Seeing you calm the animal was already a surprise to him, but seeing you ride it through the fields as you wrangle your cows was enough to make his mouth hang open. When you face him, he could only let out a whistle, his expression one of " okay, you got me." The entire day you continued to impress him by lifting bales and driving tractors like they were nothing, making the sheepish grin across his face almost permanent.
A/N : I hope this was what you wanted, forgive me for any grammar error as I’m not a native speaker, and if you spot any mistakes please let me know so I can fix it. This was fun to make, thank you !!
Yo, wait how would Ultra Magnus react to human military. The marching displays, reaction time, versatility on land and sea, general respect for chain of command, and maybe funeral arrangements
A/N: Oh this is so interesting! Thank you for this question. I haven’t thought about this before, but now that you’ve mentioned it I think he’d be very interested to know more about human military. I’m going to use TFP! Ultra Magnus for this one.
- When it comes to the American Military, he had approached Fowler about it once. The Agent was taken aback, but he decided to invite Magnus to see and learn for himself, asking him to join the former army ranger on his usual duties and patrol.
- He would be watching from a distance, silently learning, and asking questions when it’s appropriate. Although he knows he shouldn’t compare our military to the one back on Cybertron before the Great War, he can’t help but notice the differences. While he is pleased to know that there is a solid chain of command within the ranks and a similar etiquette, he finds it difficult to differentiate the officers and their position. While they do wear badges, it’s not as specific as the ones they have within their own ranks. ( That is during the earlier days of the war.)
( a cybertronian military insignia for reference )
- He is impressed with the values and overall patriotism, considering that each branch of the United States military has its own set of core values that the members of that branch are expected to live by. From the first day that a new recruit enters into military service, these values are introduced and then taught and enforced on a daily basis. Though each branch’s core values vary slightly, their purposes are the same; to establish a standard of expectations, conduct, and governance over the service member’s life. This is somewhat similar to what they did back in the Autobot Military Academy, and he does commend Fowler for his work by the end of their tour.
- He is no stranger to military war crimes either, having picked up a few history books ( courtesy of Jack ) to read on multiple war stories. He’s not only read through WWI and WWII, but he’s no stranger to the English Civil War, the French Revolutionary and Napoleonic Wars. It seems that he also enjoys Earth literature, and secretly ( or not so secretly from how much he’s quoting it ) indulges in The Art of War by Sun Tzu. He is also opposed to the military war crimes happening in the present, having shared his concern and thoughts with June from time to time.
- The first time he was invited to a military funeral was after the fall of Darkmount. Though most Cybertronians pass on safe in the knowledge that their Sparks will ascend to a peaceful existence in their afterlife, Cybertronian cultures have also developed various funerary practices. The realities of war mean that few Autobots are laid to rest in a dignified manner. Perhaps that is why, he was touched to see a fallen soldier being honored by his colleagues, family.
- A similar culture would be; honored heroes may receive monuments and memorials in their name in the hopes of inspiring future generations of Cybertronians to live up to their example.
- He is also impressed by Earth’s diversity, and that it also applies to the different military around the world. Fowler has managed to take him to several military bases, even if he had to stay in his alt-form, he was honored to have been able to visit the chain of command in countries such as Japan, Korea, and more.
- Cybertron doesn’t have any large bodies of water, and he is surprised to know that 70% of our planet is made up of water, even more, when he finds out we’re bipedal and not aquatic. So when it comes to versatility on land and sea, he can’t hide the fact that he’s impressed. Although, after being on a ship for several days ( to observe military protocols with Fowler), it’s safe to say that he’s not that excited to do it again. Funny how he can be seasick
A/N: I hope this was what you’re referring to and that I didn’t butcher this hc hahaha, tell me what you guys think and feel free to share your thoughts <3 Also forgive me if some of my research is wrong ! Tell me and I’d be sure to correct it, also I mostly include canon things from tf wiki as part of my research :)
transformers can use their sparks as projectors. Because the sparks glow, right. So they can slide film over it, or have a peice of hardware or something that allows them to display things. Like a hologram :D my head cannon would be that they are born with it, and can show memories. It’s only used for special moments, because. Spark stuff.
For a long time I've had the headcannon that Prowl enjoys blues music. I can see him crusing around the streets of Chicago in the rain, enjoying patrolling like the old Enforcer days.
