Explanation for the left, after the incident topside when they were 7/8 years old, Splinter doesn't allow the turtles out of the sewers even when they're 15. Mikey, who's repressed the memories of the accident, doesn't see why they're so scared and is tired of waiting. He sneaks up to the surface on his own and meets Casey Jones. They become a vigilante pair for a while, and eventually Casey introduces Mikey to April. It's a year or two of Mikey sneaking out to hang with Casey and April before he decides to bring them down to the lair to meet his brothers.

The right side is self explanatory 😅 Raph has poor vision and needs glasses but refuses to wear them.

I've FINALLY started coming up with like, actual plot and lore as well which is great!

First off, the Utrom are a species of squishy pink aliens whose original planet was destroyed, so they sought refuge on Xaava-Dal, home of the Aeons. The two species live in symbiosis- the Aeons are susceptible to corruption under high stress and exposure to negative energy, and living with the Utrom has shown a reduced rate of corruption, and the Utrom receive their protection and a new home.

The Utrom are a technologically advanced race who explore the cosmos in an endless pursuit of knowledge, building colonies disguised as TCRI buildings dedicated to study a planet's flora, fauna, climate, resources, apex species, and cultures. The skeletons of their robot bodies are mass produced but most Utrom create their own customized outer shell, one of the most sacred art forms of the Utrom.

The Kraang are a rebellion organization of Utrom that begins on Earth, led by the power hungry and violent Kraang Prime. Their goal is to create an army of mutants on earth in order to invade and capture Utrom colonies to turn them into Kraang colonies and to enslave the natural denizens of those planets.

Mutagen is created as a byproduct of nuclear power using an element first found in the Utrom's original home world. The used reactor rods are melted down into ooze using acid, then contained in canisters ready to undergo a process on Xaava-Dal to recycle them. The ooze is radioactive (ie, presents the same symptoms of radioactive poisoning) to the Utrom and life forms from their planet of origin, but reacts uniquely to other life forms, fusing DNA and creating mutants out of organic matter.

When the Mutagen canisters are shipped to Xaava-Dal, they occasionally get intercepted by the Kraang who are using the mutagen to create their aforementioned mutant army.

Karai is part Aeon. How this occurs I'm not yet sure, but she is. As she becomes more and more torn between her father and the turtles she slowly corrupts. She reaches full corruption when Shredder & Splinter are both killed, and will have to undergo a journey of her own to gain better emotional control until she's able to switch between the three forms relatively at will.

Note: Leorai is probably going to be canon to my iteration, but Karai is not Splinter's daughter.

Yay!!!!! My grumpy little coffee addicted Utrom is finally here!!!( He's been finished for months, I've just been lazy) And yes, he is modeled after BttS style of the Utroms, but I actually think the smooth style fits younger Utroms like Mickito.

Time for the Fun Important Facts!

He came to Earth months before Jaymie and Louroi met one another, with Stockman being the first Earthling he's ever met.

Compared to Maxx, Mickito has had the easiest time adjusting to Earth due to how he easily he can adapt.

He actually has claustrophobia, and due to this, he can't stay in his exosuit for long periods. Luckily, he can auto pilot it from anywhere.

He also doesn't physically attend school like Jaymie, Louroi, Maxx, and Hitoshi, instead letting one of his spare exosuits attend with recording and remote camera access so he can see what's going on.

He often criticizes other species' technology and insults their intelligence.

He has a mini fridge in his laboratory that is filled with only canned coffee, which is vital for him to stay awake. And it has a complicated locking mechanism to prevent theft( though apparently it isn't Louroi-proof)

He does actually have a bedroom in the P.D. headquarters, but it's unused due to the fact that Mickito considers the lab his bedroom.

His beanie is actually stolen from a clueless Purple Dragon member. With the Foot logo being an iron on patch and the Triceraton emblem being a pin.

He actually has a whole bunch of hats for different occasions and activities.

His favorite Earth fruit is peaches since it's the closest in taste and texture to a fruit found in the Utrom Homeworld that he liked to eat.

He found and reprogrammed one of Stockman's old Mousers to be his assistant. With the Mixed Snacks Gang naming him Chomp and considering him Mickito's pet.

He tends to argue with Louroi a lot, mostly about Louroi braking his technology.

He considers himself "The Greatest Utrom Scientist in All The Known Galaxies."

I'm honestly really happy with his design. Honestly, you could say he's not that much different from his OG design, but he's definitely feels much more like my original character than before. And I feel like his new grumpy personality really makes him unique among other Utroms.

And yes, you guys are free to draw and guess what he's hiding under his hat! Since it's going to be a fun recurring gag!
