I have so little patience for people complaining about bicyclists.

"They don't stay in the bike lane?" Fucker, the bike lane doesn't get plowed, is filled with debris, potholes, and parked cars. And sometimes they just disappear entirely for entire stretches of road.

"They don't obey traffic laws." Do you actually know bicycle traffic laws? Because there are some variations from other vehicle laws that might not align with how you drive your four bedroom apartment of an SUV.

Does anyone know a reliable resource to find certain laws in specific areas? I am autistically at my wit’s end.

I have been looking for years and cannot find a single law addressing idling vehicles specifically in my area. I’ve found tons that say no more than five minutes out of every sixty, but none of them are specific to my area, and I have such a hard time believing this is a law in most of the country but not in my specific city/neighborhood.

I want to put up a sign but also cannot find any helpful information on whether or not I could get in a lot of legal trouble or fined for that in my area.

Any help insight advice etc is soo appreciated as I feel completely stuck/trapped and absolutely desperate. The meltdowns are getting to the point where I am afraid of snapping and becoming violent (which is doubly terrifying because I live in magaville so I just know everyone has at least like three guns on their person at any given moment)

New B.C. laws coming to protect vulnerable road users, cyclists | Globalnews.ca

Among other updates to the Motor Vehicle Act, drivers will be mandated to give more room to cyclists when passing them on roadways.

The province of B.C. has added new protections to keep vulnerable road users, like cyclists, safer.

Drivers will now have to keep a minimum distance of at least one metre when passing cyclists and at least a metre and a half when passing on highways or roads with speed limits above 50 km/h.

The new law is among several updates to the Motor Vehicle Act.

The framework around e-bikes has also been updated, which includes a new lower-powered class of e-bikes.

People 14 and older will be able to use a new class of e-bikes with age-appropriate safety precautions, including less power, lower maximum speeds and motors that only operate with pedalling. [...]
