You should never do anything with the purpose of gaining the attention or approval of others. The accomplishment of your goals should be to benefit your life, never to satisfy another’s standards of how you live your life.

11 slow but beautiful miles. So cold, so many layers. Within 1/4 mile I’d stepped in a freezing cow patty puddle and had to pee in the woods. Yay trail running! 🤣👍🏃♀️ Pg&e Dave and ultra runner Tina passed me around mile 2, I’m pretty sure they heard me singing at the top of my lungs. Again. New wildflower pictures for Mom. I’m amazed on a regular basis that people ridicule new people in the gym. We were all new, inexperienced lifters with no clue what we were doing. We all struggled at some point. Instead of mocking people, putting them down, or discouraging them from going to the gym. Spread your fitness knowledge to help others grow.
You have one life so spend it feeling good everyday! We might all live to the same old age, but some of us are going to do it in a lot less pain. How you treat your body now when you are younger directly impacts how you feel when you are older. If you carry excessive body fat for years, eat processed foods, or food high in refined sugars. The machine that is your body is going to get clogged up and run like shit. Who wants to live in pain taking hand fulls of pills everyday.
You can still live a great life and have fun. You eat can pizza, cheeseburgers, and have desserts. You just have to do it in moderation. So find a way to exercise everyday, be active, get up and move. Oh yeah, don’t forget to drink some damn water too!
No 21 day challenge is going solve anything. It takes time, day in day out, week after week, and month after month, but I promise you it will be worth it. If anyone tells you anything different, they’re selling you snake oil or ducking fit tea...
