TRSB ART 2022: Legacy of Fire

my second contribution to @tolkienrsb 2022. Wheeling stars below to be revealed on Saturday on AO3.

Story: In the hall of Mandos, Feanor and Fingolfin bond with the loss of their children.

It was an absolute joy to work with @ettelene who was the best author an artist could hope for. <3 The collaboration was always filled with positive and creative energy that I couldn't believe I had such luck working with her! Her story has BLOWN ME AWAY even before it was finished. The attention to detail, the clever use of subtlety and her understanding of these characters all lead to this heart-wrenching story that had driven me to tears many times. <3 <3 <3

My finished piece for the Tolkien Reverse Summer Bang @tolkienrsb 2022! It’s my favorite duo ever- Annatar and Celebrimbor. 

I collab’d with @raisingcain-onceagain for their fic titled “lost in the illusion, and i cannot hide” on AO3- it is definitely one of the more unique takes I’ve seen on the relationship and I adore it to the bottom of my heart. Thank you so much once again for working with me!! <333

I have absolutely nothing else to post than my TRSB 2022 entry!

Well, i realize my art have really improved in a few months, I find this piece absolutely horrible now.

A bit of context: after The Nirnaeth Arnoediad and the death of Fingon, I imagied Fingon has come back as a hawk, to watch over Maedhros, and be a witness of his downfall. Manwë already have helped them in the past so, why couldn't he helped Maedhros in his infinite grief?

My TRSB (Tolkien Reverse Summer Bang) art for this year! A moment which from my first read of the Silmarillion had always given me goosebumps, the first rising of the sun and the march to Angband!
