I personally think they would find the delivery more unsettling than the formation of the fetus. As someone who has actually seen a real-life delivery and who considers myself a pretty strong person, believe me when I tell you it looks like something out of a horror movie

literally just woke up a dream a cat was giving birth and I was watching and in the dream I was like "I don't think she's far enough along, I don't think this'll go well"

and the first was born underdeveloped and still inside the placenta so I was watching her eat it and said "ooh bad sign" (bad sign the first one was born dead, her eating it was very normal

the second was fully developed but also born dead.

then the Mama moved up into an armchair for some reason and pushed out a third very casually while grooming herself. I kept yelling/saying to her "Mama there's a baby!" while the third one came out and she just didn't react in any way to me yelling or the kitten. and she didn't even notice and it fell out of the armchair into the floor

and I ran to it (as I would have reacted the same way in real life) but it was fully developed and seemed alive and I was like "ooh I don't want to rub this baby barehanded but I doubt I have time to go find a washcloth" so I was about to start rubbing it to get it breathing and crying when I woke up.

(also the dream started with her pushing out bloody mucus in the middle of the floor and I was like "oh shit here we go" but then she just stayed in the floor, like a couple feet from the bed. and even in the dream I was like "well that's very weird of her but if this is where she wants to do it, okay. who am I to counter her birth plan")

anyway weird fucking dream and I'm gonna try to go back to sleep

Blitzwing would be so awful during the pregnancy and birth, and it would worry his human to no ends that he refuses to go to any kind of medical facilities for care.

them and clinical settings just don't mix, especially not after he was turned into a triple-changer (I'm running with the headcanon he was turned against his will) and just does NOT trust doctors at all, especially not with his babies, and even MORE so he does not trust the autobot science division that's definitely going to be trying to document the first hybrid pregnancy within a triple-changer. (Assuming this happens during a period of peace.)

there's one time where Icy is in front for an extended period about midway through and they manage to get through a checkup and ultrasound, but that's all.

birth was even worse. Bro refused to go to a hospital and by the time doctors showed up to help with the birth it was already over. Baby was definitely big for a human but itty bitty for a cybertronian and everything went smoothly. (Though he was still whiny and unbearable throughout it, human was subjected to more licking to help manage the stress)

How do you think the different Megatrons would feel getting their human pregnant? Between a Megatron that loves his human and doesn't, what feelings would there be, maybe such as feeling as though he is not well equipped enough for a sparkling or feeling as though hes finally claimed this human as his in every way. I know what i think but i love ur thoughts, i want to EAT them.

Also i know pregnancy can be a tough topic even in fiction, fantasy, or hypotheticals, so dont feel as though u need to put too much thought into this if u dont wanna 💋

I believe most Megatrons care less about being sires, and more about claiming their humans completely. Shattered Glass and IDW Megs are the only ones with anxiety regarding being sires

I'm certain the idea of their partner having a miscarriage or dying during childbirth has crossed everyone's processors. Which does make bots like BW Megatron uneasy. Tho, most are under the belief they'll just force their human to pull through. Especially TFP and TFA

I... don't think there's too much of a difference if they truly love their humans? It just makes them more obsessed and determined to make sure things go well
