so i had a thought- i have my Biker Shuichi and my Underground Cage Fighter Kokichi..... what if i saiouma that?
imagine how terrifying that would be to the circuts and gangs who are already terrifyed of them individually
Shuichi's known as the most feared and ruthless biker in Japan, having his guarddog gang and terrorizing his racing opponents. Kokichi is known as a rarely defeated champion of both his own circut and any cross circut competitions he signs up for. Granted both takes are over-exaggerated rumor fuled dumpsterfires, but to everyone but the duo themselves it's all they know about them
no one knows 90% of accidents in Shuichi's races are simply accidents he let people give him credit for so he could avoid getting seen as easy prey, and his "guarddogs" had to be talked into actually listening to him instead of just doing things all willy nilly in his name cause they thought he was cool. No one realizes Kokichi refuses to play dirty even when fighting someone who does play dirty, he only really wants a fun clean fight and that's what he gets. Neither are bloodthristy like they're made out to be, but they don't really try to stop to rumors cause they tend to be useful in warding off real trouble they don't want to tussle with.
Imagine being someone in their crime circles finding out these two got together, only ever hearing the rumors about how cold and bloodthirsty they are, never hearing a thing about how harmless they truely are. That's a horrific thought really, they'd seem like the world's most fucked up power couple to everyone in the circuts and gangs.
Their names run blood cold seperatly, but together they make hearts completly stop. no one wants to get on either's bad side now, lest both come for their head.
truely comical when you know these two are really the biggest dorks to ever dork, and they like to snuggle up with a fuzzy blanket and some tea, making fun of bad Hallmark movies together and telling cringeworthy jokes as a date. Or that Shuichi is extra clingly and will pout when his Mocha needs to stop snuggling and do stuff. Or how Kokichi loves to burn a hole in his wallet buying things to give to Shuichi cause they reminded him of his beloved Shumai and he couldn't just not get him it.
fearsome am i right?
Hello, I’m really loving your works 👉👈 I think it’s great to write about streetracer and fighter AUs but I don’t know where to begin cos I don’t have much knowledge about cars or fighting 😅 But you are doing a great job with it
thank you!! i’d say it really depends on how interested you are at writing them. personally, lots of research are being done before i post my stories with specific au’s (ie. street racer, underground fighter) bc i don’t wanna be putting out a story that i know nothing abt. although i already have prior knowledge about street racing and underground fighting, i still gather data by expanding my research materials so that i’d be able to write a detailed story. i’ll give you examples below:
street racing. it’s always a good option to watch the fast & furious films (esp 1-3) to have some knowledge on how street racing works. there’s also a manga/movie called initial d that focuses on the street racing culture in japan. you can also play need for speed: underground / no limits bc these games actually have storylines and you’re playing as a street racer and you’re racing against other crews! all in all, if you wish to go into detail for ur street racing fic, i’d suggest researching about cars specifically—models, specifications, parts, etc. you never know when these details will come in handy!
underground fighting. ok so i actually did boxing & muay thai for 4 years which is why i have a few knowledge abt mma (my trainer also taught me a few bjj techniques haha) but even if you have no prior experience, i think you can learn so much by watching films related to it. i recommend watching never back down as an example which is a movie that highlights what underground fighting is like! you can also play UFC the game so you’d have some knowledge on the fighting techniques used by mma fighters. there are many clips in youtube about different fighting styles/underground fight clubs that you can watch to understand how these things work.
don’t be pressured to do all this though. you write a story however you want, whether detailed or not, as long as the idea is in there. sorry if i get so confusing or if i’m rambling but i hope this helps! :)
i had a thought that feeds me and any other Twunkichi believers
What if Kokichi but he's the ultimate Underground Fighter?
hear me out-
he'd be the long running champion in a semi-underground fighting circut, and while the circut is well kept and safe, it's still very much an illegal gig- so they have to be secretive about it. HPA loves Kokichi's spunk and sparring capabilites, so they offer him the title in trade for keeping him and his ring safe from the police.
Kokichi accepts it and goes to HPA, but of course he's tight lipped about the details of his talent while there as he has trust issues. As results between his secrecy, lying habit, height, and baggy clothes, no one believes him when he says he's an underground street fighter- let alone a long running champion.
me using funky au ideas as Saiouma fule again, as i do!
The twunk fule Ult Undergound Fighter Kokichi would be fun to make some cute Saiouma fluff with.
it's hot as shit out and Kokichi and Shuichi wanna snuggle, but Kokichi is nervous to take off his hoodie cause he has alot of scars from his fights all over his body. While the scars help make him look scary in the fighting cage, he's worried they might offput Shuichi cause of how gnarly or fresh some of them are.
Shuichi gets him to take his hoodie off out of concern for him over heating, and rather than being worried or offput by the scars, he was mezmerized by them.
Shuichi defiantly couldn't get over how they looked, but it was in a good way. He mutter to Kokichi about how those scars were like proof he worked hard for his title, how while they must have hurt to get were something he should be proud of. While doing this Shuichi would trace the scars with his finger, kissing some of the visibly fresher ones and a few places he had bandaids covering new wounds, like he was trying to help them heal.
Kokichi was totally overwhelmed by how sweet Shuichi's reaction was, almost crying out of pure joy. He made sure to give Shuichi plently of good snuggles and kisses in return after he touched his heart like that.
I have brainrot
Chapter 1.10 of Admissions releases tomorrow! After nine chapters of Emile and Cylie, it’s time for some new POVs: starting with Cynthia, Cylie’s twin and also her own person, with her own voice, concerns, and priorities. Like, for example, her secret underground fighting career. Here’s a little preview:
—
As she practiced, her mind wandered back to previous fights.
Not fights for survival. Those replayed themselves when they saw fit. All Cynthia could do was try to breathe through, when memories came on like enemies in ambush.
Other fights, ones she chose, helped. Gave her different memories to tie to her muscles. Gave her mind practice and padding against real blows, when they came. That was why she loved the tether-ring.
Of course, she couldn’t tell Cylie that that was part of why she was so upset about all this. Not that she couldn’t play tether-ring here on Europa, her beacon let her find fellow players wherever they went. But even beyond the risks of participating in extralegal underground fights while living long-term in a Windfall-controlled city, how would she possibly explain the prize money—and the bruises—to Cylie when they were supposed to be going to school?
Before, depending on the ratio of cash to bruises, she’d told him they were from warehouse burglaries, or day labor, or freelance enforcement contracts. He always believed her. Cynthia was good at those kinds of things, and she never lied to him.
Except about this.

Full chapter drops here tomorrow! In the meantime, you can check out Chapter 1.9 if you haven’t yet.

ROUND 1 of the KAGE Trilogy
My name is Jamie Atwood, and I’m an addict. I never thought I’d say such a thing. Never had a problem being overly-attached to anything in my life. I came from a perfectly middle-class family, made good grades, and had a hot cheerleader girlfriend. But the truth is, nothing ever really moved me. So how did a guy like me become an addict?
I met Michael Kage.
Kage is an MMA fighter. A famous one. I like to think I helped him get that way.
He’s charming as hell, with looks to rival any movie star and talent to back it up. So why did he need to hire me as an intern Publicist? Simple. He has a darkness in him– like a black hole so deep it could swallow him, and me, and everyone we know– and that’s not good for business.
The first time I met him, I felt the pull. I think the addiction began at that very moment. And even if I’d known then what I know now, I would have fallen for him. How could I not?
For me, Kage is everything.
EXCERPT
Kage pushed his tongue deeper into my mouth, and suddenly I was sucking hungrily at his tongue, winding my arms around his neck, and pressing my lower body against his. I was desperate to get closer, to feel through the barrier of my clothing what he had pressed against me. My hunger knew no bounds, growing exponentially with each passing second as it became clearer that this was not some fevered fantasy. This was actually happening.
And I was going to let it.
He unwound my arms from his neck and reached down to pull my t-shirt over my head so that we were skin to skin. The scrub of chest hair against my nipples was exquisite torture, and I moaned, pulling back to catch my breath.
“Fuck no, you’re not going anywhere!” Kage yanked me back against him. “I’ve waited too long for this. Been patient enough.” He covered my mouth and face with kisses, moved down to my throat, and bit the sensitive skin there until I cried out. I was overcome with passion, my breath coming in quick gasps as I fought to keep it together. I had always thought of myself as a player and a skilled lover, but I swear Kage made me feel like a virgin all over again.
“Take off your pants,” he said.
“What are you planning on doing to me?” I asked, my voice distant to my own ears as I worked my shorts down my legs, leaving my boxer briefs on.
“What I should have done when you first got here…”
“How did you know I’d let you?”
He chuckled. “I could tell by the way you look at me. Like you’re eating me alive with your eyes.”
“I don’t do that,” I protested. “I don’t even like guys.”
“Liar.” Kage shook his head and took a step back. “Get on your knees, Jamie.”
“Pardon me?”
“Don’t give me that look. I said get on your knees.”
I wanted to tell him no, that this was insanity, and that I wasn’t gay. I wanted to point out that I’d just recently had a girlfriend whom I’d fucked soundly on a regular basis. But instead I sank to my knees in front of him and waited, looking up at his unbelievably perfect body, all muscles and planes and smooth skin. The boyish face with the five-o’clock shadow, the dark locks of hair that fell loosely around his face… and that’s when I felt it. He was right. I was devouring him with my eyes, because God help me I could not get enough.

AUTHOR BIO
My name is Maris Black (sort of), and I'm a Southern Girl through and through.
In college, I majored in English and discovered the joys of creative writing and literary interpretation. After honing my skills discovering hidden meanings authors probably never intended, I collected my near-worthless English degree and got a job at a newspaper making minimum wage. But I soon had to admit that small town reporting was not going to pay the bills, so I went back to school and joined the medical field. Logical progression, right? But no matter what I did, my school notebooks and journals would not stop filling up with fiction. I was constantly plotting, constantly jotting prose, constantly casting the people I met as characters in the secret novels in my head.
Yep. I can blame my creative mother for that one!
When I finally started writing fiction for a living, I surprised myself with my choice of genre. I'd always known I wanted to write romance, but the first story that popped out was about a couple of guys finding love during a threesome with a woman. Then I wrote about more guys, and more guys, and more guys. I was never a reader of gay fiction, and I'd never planned to write it. The only excuse I have for myself is: Hey, it's just what comes out!

REVIEW
KAGE by Maris Black
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
I just finished reading this a few minutes ago, and I am so wound up. Wow, I was definitely excited to read about a fighter, but I had no idea what I was getting into with this book.
Jamie has always dated girls. It isn't a passionate kind of love, but rather a safe and comfortable agreement. He enjoys sex, but there's no fire behind it. Warning there is a M/F sex scene, but it isn't very graphic or long. It stresses the difference between sex with a woman and man for Jamie.
Kage is sex on a stick. He's also wealthy and dangerous. He's an underground fighter on the verge of breaking into the UFC. There's a lot of mystery surrounding him.
Both characters were great in my opinion. Jamie has the perfect personality. He's smart, über charming, cute and talented at talking his way into getting what he wants. Others are attracted to him everywhere he goes, and he uses it. Kage is literally a machine. He has the perfect body, works out all the time, eats right. He's large, muscled and sexy. Also he's majorly alpha. I looooved his alphaness over Jamie. Like I basically melted into a pile of goo on the floor moaning yes like Meg Ryan in When Harry Met Sally.
I can't wait for more!

Bastian's Storm by Shay Savage Review
Title: BASTIAN'S STORM Author: SHAY SAVAGE
Genre: Romantic Suspense/ Erotica
Publication Date: June 19th 2013
Sebastian Stark just isn’t cut out for normal life with a girlfriend in the hot and humid city of Miami. Though he wants to shield Raine from the truth, the shady circumstances of his past form into a hurricane he can’t control. In an effort to protect her, Bastian has no choice but to throw himself back into his old job – death match tournaments – just one last time. Dropped into the arctic wilderness with weapons loaded, Bastian has to compete against representatives from major crime lords all over the states. He’s studied his competition, he knows their weaknesses, and he’s ready to battle for the woman he loves. There’s only one opponent in the mix that causes him any concern. In order to guarantee Raine’s safety, Bastian will be pitted against the key hit man for Chicago’s largest mob family – a guy who’s known as one hell of a shot. A guy named Evan Arden.
Shay Savage lives in Cincinnati, Ohio with her husband, two children, and a variety of household pets. She is an accomplished public speaker, and holds the rank of Distinguished Toastmaster from Toastmasters International. When not writing, she enjoys science fiction movies, masquerading as a zombie, is a HUGE Star Wars fan, and member of the 501st Legion of Stormtroopers. Savage holds a degree in psychology, and she brings a lot of that knowledge into the characters within her stories.
Bastian's Storm by Shay Savage
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
Shay comes up with some of the best characters I have ever read. This book has Evan Arden and Sebastian Stark. I think I died and went to readers' heaven. I mean what is it about a guy who straddles the line between 'wanting to be better' and 'past gone bad' that fires up my insides? Yes they have issues obviously.
Sometimes it just boiled inside of me.
The fucking anger.
"I don't know that I can control those...those urges. There's a need inside of me to lash out. It's so fucking deep, and I can't explain it; I just know it's there. As far back as I can remember, it's always been there."
If I were ever in a life or death situation, I would want them on my side. This time they are put up against each other. Gasp! But I love both men. This cannot be!
Surviving Raine is Bastian's series so I'm gonna focus on him. Poor guy—Can he still be thought of in that manner after all he has done? I say yes.—So, poor guy just cannot catch a break. He wants to feel normal, to be away from all the bullshit, to have his girl...Really he just wants to go back to the island, where he felt peace, where outside life didn't invade his relationship, where Raine only needed him. He really does love that girl. When a tough killer speaks of someone the way he does of her, it touches me more.
With this angle, we could look right into each other's eyes, and I could feel her inside of me as much as I could feel myself inside of her.
I had a whole range of emotions while reading this book, and I welcomed every moment of it.
I appreciate how the men have real grit. I also relish how everything is realistic as it can be. Nothing is over romanticized in this series. The good, bad, ugly, pretty, dirty and clean are all given voice. Of course I'm talking about the living, the surviving, the fighting, etc, but I also am talking about the kid. Usually they overly cute a kid, but it makes the exchange feel unnatural. The kid in this book acts just like real kids do so I liked that.
Basically, I liked every word, and you should read the book. It's one of my top reads for the year.
