So i finally decided to open up about my journey i am having VSG surgery 5 years ago i got into a car accident that changed the coarse of my life while it wasn’t as bad as most people think it left damage 2 years later 20 physical therapy sessions and 12 chiropractor visits and i still was in Bad shape i had a pinched nerve and a herniated disc in my lower back not to mention diabetes and Sjögren's disease after all that the only exercise that i could do until i got stronger was water and cardio. And woah did i fall in love with that !!!!!! But it wasn’t enough it took months of strength build up but i got to a point where i no longer needed it i was in the gym every other day every week meal prepping and kicking ass then the ball dropped my husband and i no longer saw eye to eye and separated needless to say i was was depressed but that didn’t hinder me it motivated me to do all the things that i wasnt doing meeting new people travel EATING GREAT FOOD ! And some un healthy choices that got me here i was having so much fun that i forgot about the smaller things Me!!! Let speed up the time line everything was going great better job oh yeah got laid off wheeeeeew 2018 was a crazy year 2019 started wild but ended amazing and then COVID !!!happened I caught it!!!!!!! For people to say its not real it attacked the hell out of me as someone with a compromised immune system let me tell you i had my doubts about weather i was going home with no gym no man no sex no job unemployment challenges quarantined most of the year until the summer i started to get my stride back coming out of a bad relationship will make you change your prospective on what you want to make you happy once again i started to invest in me doing the things that made me internally happy and eventually the external could show it i got a nutritionist saw a doctor got on Meds to drop my A1C oh snap it worked for a while but it was hurting me in the inside 3 trips to the er for gastritis and tummy inflammation is not fun nope not at all so i finally decided to do it what are you scared about a year of doing everything i could do i landed at the VSG option yes it is classified as a weight loss surgery that helps people with so many other issues did i get judged by my friends YES.. do i get the questions why don’t you just work harder at the gym are you eating right do it the natural way thinking that they are Medical doctors but i chose for myself for me this time i spent a vast majority of my life being a worker bee and helping everybody and making everybody happy at the expense of my own this time i choose to be auto immune free free of pain everyday a longer life span children and oh yea the perk a awesome body but guess what this is not the easy route to it this is hard as we speak i am on my 3rd meal shake of the day no food for two weeks leading up to surgery while watchjng everybody chow down it just every bit mental as it is physical and everybodies mindset is different im here until the finish line so here we are 5 years later life put back together in the right mindspace an amazing business back to work in a good place overall and my decision is firm im ready no turning back lets go!!!!!!!!!
