Regrann from @heisblanchard - 🤜🏾💥😔...🙏🏾 I saw his face when he holding on to that wall...he didn’t know what was going on...I can’t imagine the fear. I said this was too personal. It was too much rage and hate. This wasn’t about beef or drugs...this was just evil. Apparently...there is a video of one those grown men’s younger sister floating around. She’s having sex with another teenage guy and the guy that recorded it...is the one they thought they were murdering. Both video’s are disturbing. One of a teenage boy getting brutally murdered and another one of a young teenage girl, losing her innocence...along with some other teenage boys. And letting them record her. I’m getting tired of these videos. They are preparing us to be desensitized to atrocities. I don’t know the details but...in my heart...I feel it was mistaken identity. But...even with ALL that said...there is NO justification for this!!! Period!!! I don’t care!!! He was 15!!! The store owners...the by-standers...the 5 grown men...the families loss...a Mother’s pain...it’s sad and tragic. I’m tired of this fake street code of ethics...y’all consistently and habitually display No honor , no morals , no ethics, no principals...just death , destruction and cowardice. The “streets” are the biggest CON of All Time. We kill our own and then hide till the police catch us...then we tell them everything...just to rot in a cell. Week 18 update

But I know things will get better!  

  Said goodbye to an awesome coworker.  

Said goodbye to an awesome cat.  

But I got to reconnect with my family and take some time for myself so that was really great.  

It's been a tough week.  

And despite it all, it always feels good to come back.

Thanksgiving is for Eaters...and that's not me

Thanksgiving kinda sucked! Not the people. Not the food. Definitely not the wine. The mental anguish of wanting to eat and every gulp of food swallowed feels like death after the first two bites was frustrating. But, I am extremely happy for the company of friends and the delicious food that I could eat.

Here is what I tried to eat.

Other than Thanksgiving, this week, I went to see Best Coast with my amazing friend and coworker, Jenny. I went to the gym with a cute guy, and I went shopping.  

I always have a blast with this girl! She's the best! Even CTA rides are fun.​
