Weekly dump of my Tim and Ratman [Weretober] designs!

I think the best part of this chunk is both Tim's actually present for a couple of these and that in the last one, Ratman is ALSO going through a real rough time. Equality, you know? They both get to have a bad day!

P.S. The "Eastern Dragon" prompt was changed because I didn't feel comfortable depicting this very non-Asian man with typically Asian design sensibilities. It's also a fun nod to my Nintendo ask blog days hOILJKFD.

Usually I put these in chronological order but I NEEDED to put this one at the top because um. Hi, this AU of Ratman being discovered and the both of them being experimented on is going into my back pocket for later use. Bringing a whole new definition to "lab rat".

And then the thumbnail sketches for the respective prompts!

For the Ptarmiganman and Beeman, that was around the time I got a comment about Tim getting to have some fun, so I was like "You know what, he should! Lemme get him in on this sometimes."

And finally for the Chimeraman, I actually already had the lion, snake, and goat designs fulfilled for [last year's] [weretober], so I was like "Uhhhh let's change them up a little since this is literally the same character." hOILKJDF

Weretober Day 15 is Sockeye!

Since when they reach this stage when they turn red they're actively bloating and rotting so decided to bring out the pigment rich paints for this and ample water for the effect

When you're a badass wereshark! ...but falcatus aren't actually sharks and it turns out you're rather smaller than a lot of hungry ocean critters and maybe hiding amongst kelp isn't so undignified after all... (Please note that before anyone "umm actually"s me, I know kelp wasn't around in the Carboniferous, but neither were humans, so let's pretend this is a shapeshifted werefalcatus in the modern day ocean, okay? Okay. 😊)

Writing Prompt Four:

While werewolves are the most famous were-creatures, there were many other animal types.

Werecats who walk with grace and act like they own everything. Weregators/crocodiles who can hold their breath for a long time even in human form. Werecrows can solve a lot of problems if it is physically in front of them—never cross one they hold grudges. Wererats and wereracoons are pretty crafty willing to get their hands dirty. An unfortunate few were werefish who need to take extreme care when they transform. Safe to say all the were-animals have their own strengths and weaknesses.

You happen to be a werebeaver. And transform in your sleep even when it isn’t your time of the month to transform. Surprisingly, animal you is quite the artist carving (gnawing?) wood into various things. You start selling them.

Summary: Jushiro and Shunsui wake up one day to find their precious fish have been engaging in unknown affairs. It’s not until Jushiro is bitten by a fish that they understand what the affairs are. From there on, the fantastical becomes reality, with all the responsibility of being a pet owner.
