Summary: Mulan and Shang are sent on a mission to take down a corrupt governor by the Emperor. And this will be routine, only they're meant to go as husband and wife, and Shang has already spent months trying to gather up the courage to ask Mulan for permission to court her.

Comments: I love how soft, flustered, and gone Shang is. He visits her family even though she's not there. He's so excited to see her after months he completely doesn't hear that this missing involves a fake marriage. The way he makes these little comments about Mulan in his head that all show how impressed and proud he is for her. It's perfect.

Fanfic Rec #3 Tom Riddle/Harry Potter (Harry Potter)

Love is Suffering (according to Tom Riddle) by whitedandelions Potter’s crush on him was amusing since the wizard was a Gryffindor through and through and would do absolutely nothing to further Tom’s career.  And it stayed amusing, until Tom graduated, and realized he wouldn’t be able to keep an eye on Potter anymore, and that he enjoyed Potter’s crush far more than he realized. Let’s start the show by Terrific_Lunacy It started as a game. When two highborn lords come looking for a distraction from boredom, they merge the worlds of the highest class with those of the lowest class. A careless invitation sets things in motion that were supposed to stay locked away. Because a kingdom on the verge of collapse, a noble without a past and a circus performer with a secret are not a good combination.

They're still very much in love and this time, can actually show the world just how much they mean to each other. Featuring: Grammy award speeches, Duet Albums, Harry being on the Voice, long distance relationships, and loads and loads of fluff.

Harry pouts, twisting in Louis' arms so he can aim his big green eyes at him. "Are you ashamed of me, Louis? Don't want people to know that we like to have sex in the morning?" Harry pauses, and his character breaks as he seems to suddenly think of something. "Early bird gets the wood on, right?" Louis groans, "Oh my god, Harry, you promised you wouldn't mention that anymore!" "Hands and knees for two days straight," continues Harry. "How did we ever hide our relationship?" asks Louis, despairingly. "Really good with my hands, aren't I, Louis? Just like I was with wood tech." "Hazza, you made your point! Everyone probably already knows we have massive amounts of sex. I'll sing the bloody songs with you."

He's shaking, and he knows he's being stupid, but the second the surprise stops freezing his limbs in place, he's bounding up two steps at a time until he's standing in front of Harry. Harry's just on the line "Who cares baby, I think I wanna marry you," and Louis knows deep down in his bones that Harry is bloody proposing to him.

 Louis smiled weakly, and took Harry's words as an okay to move closer.  And despite everything Harry had done for himself in those three years in hopes to get over him, Harry let him.  He let Louis get close as if those three years had never happened, as if he hadn't been a living husk of a person ever since Louis had left him.
