Finally returning to the safety of their friends. Still recovering... Whumpee cannot sleep one night without horrific nightmares and flashbacks of the brutal trauma and torture they endured. Murmuring words of "please stop" and "let me go" that grows into screaming and waking wildly confused, not knowing where they are.

Caretakers know some of what they've been through, they are never tired of tag-teaming to come in and soothe whumpee and remind them it's okay, they're in a good place and they are safe now.

If you like storm whump, you might like Into the Storm. My brother (who has always been a weather nerd) got me to watch it and it was pretty neat. It’s got multiple small tornadoes, huge tornadoes, fire tornadoes, building collapses, floods, people trapped in flooding buildings, a ton of debris (as expected when there’s a storm), scrambles for shelter, multiple perspectives, loss, buildup, aftermath, noble sacrifice, dumb sacrifice, final words, all that good shit. I could go on! (The slower parts in between the more intense parts are a little cheesy though lol)

Opinion on ritual sacrifice, my liege?

it ddepends on the context!

If you're sacrificing a virgin to the gods its ok in any context

If you're sacrificing a child, it's unforgivable (with a few exceptions, still evil though)

If you're sacrificing anything to me, make sure you be nice to whatever you're sacrificing otherwise im contractually obligated to let its spirit haunt you, and if it doesnt have one to haunt with i must provide it one.

The only type of sacrifice in which you're okay to do anything you want to the sacrifice is when you sacrifice a predator or zoophile. When doing that, the more brutal the better!

Dislocated joints are actually very fun whump concepts. Think about it:

First you have the initial injury. Be it a dislocated shoulder, hip, knee, all potential locations are dehibilitating, losing the use of that arm or being unable to walk, etc.

Also that every time the whumpee tries to move the dislocated limb they risk making it worse and intensify the pain.

Then... then you have treatment. Forcing a dislocated joint back into place is NOT FUN. Not for the whumpee, not for the caretaker. And if someone inexperienced tries and messes it up... oh boy oh boy we making it worse!

And of course you have all the issues that might come about after the joint is fixed, such as strained muscles, sprained ligaments and tendons, nerve damage, vascular (blood vessel) issues, stiff joints/osteoarthritis... the list goes on.

Anyway thinking about this bc someone I know irl dislocated both their knees on separate occasions, (and it took like four medical professionals to put it back in place). Also I remembered a scene in Mom's Night Out (2014) where Sam dislocates his shoulder and instead of letting a medical professional set it he slammed. His shoulder. Into a wall. And shoved it back in place. In the storming emergency room. In front of the receptionist. I cringe every time.

If you're into villain whump, especially medical, you should absolutely watch Saw 3 btw (if you can stomach gore and other possibly gross things)
