A question for people who write vampires / obsessed with vampires and / etc...
Can vampires walk in eclipses?
If so, why?
If not, why?
I'm curious 😭
A new poll!

possible dynamic??
I wonder if it is plausible for a character to be a caretaker, whumper, and whumpee all at once. Of course, there are more than two characters, therefore introducing more possibilities for a nuanced character? So essentially Character A is a carewhumper for Character B and is a whumpee to Character C because of Character B due to their relationship
If that makes sense...I've never seen a character fit into all three roles
Whumpblr, reblog and summarize your whump series please. I need to see something...
Question for Whump writers
Just for good ol’ curiosity’s sake
While writing a whump scene between a whumpee and whumper, do you see yourself more as:
the whumper whumping the whumpee?
the whumpee enduring the whumping?
split equally/ it depends on who the focus of the story is
none/ I don’t feel like the characters I’m writing about
I feel like a 3rd party that has no stake in the whumping/ am watching it unfold
Other (add your thoughts—I’d love to know more about my fellow whump community!)
Note: I feel like I tend to take the mindsets of characters for certain scenes as I’m writing but its easier to do for a whumpee. So, for example: “what would whumpee really NOT want whumper to do right now/how can i make this worse for whumpee” is easier to answer for me as a writer writing the whump scenes than “what does whumper want to do/ what does whumper get out of this whumping”. Does this make sense? Idk… i hope so. Feel free to add your thoughts!
Btw I'm creating a fictional drug for Whump that makes the Whumpee unable to fall unconscious from pain, so they have to fall asleep normally. The hell do I call it??
Also an injection substance that gives the Whumpee temporary frostbite without killing them, and can stack effects (so basically the more you use on them, the syringe it is)
Btw I'm making these because I want to write my OC who sings himself to sleep because he can't fall unconscious despite all the bleeding and frostbite <3
And imagining the trembling lyrics as he tries not to look at his blood to calm himself down, or perhaps if he's gagged, then all he can do is hum the lyrics instead :D
Idk advice please, feedback, and what you guys think :D
Alright I just saw a post about restraints... and I'm curious now. What are your favorite ways of restraining your whumpees? 👀 And are those the most effective/practical?
