The saddest thing about Loki and Thor’s relationship is that it could have existed way before the events of Ragnarok. Thor openly admits his feelings, wants ti be there for his brother in every Thor movie, reaches out, defends him, screams for him to hold on he can save him. Thor mourns his brother every time, Thor loves his brother. The problem? Loki’s belief that hes not good enough, his desire for more love, his want to be seen by his father. Ultimately? Its Odin’s fault. Odin caused Loki to have such a thirst for validation, even when Thor was fully willing to offer his, Loki craved his fathers. He does everything for Odin, and he lets go when he realizes he can’t get it finally. I just… I love them so much and it makes me so mad when people make posts or comments or edits hating on Thor when he did so little wrong, maybe he messed up or didn't communicate enough here or there, but he loves his brother, always has, and hes only ever cold or aloof when hes grieving or angry, and even then hes emotional and begging Loki to help him, to come to him. Thor gave his love to loki freely and openly and its so sad because Loki didn't see it. They could have had so much more time…
