It’s Decided: This Fall, We’ll Wear Flowers

For a month or so now I've been thinking of a universe where Zootopia characters live in a world before their 'civilization'. Predators still hunt prey, clothes haven't been invented yet, and animals of all types move with some type of facultative bipedalism, aka, they can walk on four legs as well as two.

However, they've already developed opossable thumbs, which may enable the creation and usage of handmade weapons in a future, as well as rudimentary tools. In my idea, I envision Nick as the protagonist, a lone fox that does what all lone foxes do best - survive on their own for the most part.

He competes directly with other animals for prey, as illustrated here; Larry, Gary and Wolfard have overhead the smaller fox wandering into their territory, and are about to question what he's doing here. Let's just say Nick is less than thrilled to having been caught red-pawed, haha-

Whether Wolfard is the pack leader or they're all under the leadership or someone else, I really haven't thought about. It was still fun though, I lowkey want to draw more of this in the future.

Snell Wolfård

Snell’s family are immigrants. They came from Scanisnavia.

His dad really wanted to become a soldier, but an injury in university caused him to rest his dreams, and became an engineer instead.

The Wolfård family immigrated to Zootopia because Mr. Wolfård was an expert with Heat Pumps, and Zootopia needed his expertise to help refurbish the aging Climate Wall.

They immigrated when young Snell was just 12.

Even though his father had hung up on his dreams, Snell could still see the fondness his father had for the uniformed forces.

So one day, after graduating with honors from university, Snell secretly applied for the Zootopia Police Department.

Mr. Wolfård was very proud.
