Would you remember me
If I just wore bright coloured clothes
Would you like me
If I were to be bubbly and cheery
Would you love me
If I was selfish and vain
Should I just copy the whole world
For the world to like me
It is what you seem to be doing
And working all the same
Since the world loves you so
While I always manage to be a background
Even with the spotlight on me
Skills eh!
I’ve spent a lot of money on pretty pens and paper; none of which has helped me to express my screaming soul.
- G.L. Angelone
If it doesn’t matter in 5 years, give it 5 minutes.
Feel it. Then move on.
If it’s more than 5 minutes, address it so it isn’t something petty that comes up in five years.
Address it and move on.

So my dash just did a thing
Amidst the ruin, I found a home and it was me.

Denial Breathes
the same old story of denial giving birth again in my thoughts
a distal escape to a fabricated truth I feed to myself
and there in its breath I'll have tackled my sentence temporarily
