It is nice to see that Wrex is pretty consistent across all three games, despite serving a fairly different role in 2 and 3 compared to the first game.

I was hoping that the Sur’kesh mission would give me a chance to work alongside him as a party member again, but no dice.

Wrex was quick to search and recover Shepard. Now he works to keep her survival a secret as his people looked for the Normandy. There's just a few problems with that. 1. The alliance wants her and Hackett suspects she's alive. 2. The mass relays and most of the technology-based around them are no longer functioning. 3. Keeping her alive. Where's Vakarian when he needs him?

The final chapter of this story is now up. The second story in this series will be up sometime by the end of next week. Until then I hope you all enjoy.

A calloused hand rests on top of his own. For the first time in decades the skin of another rests casually against his own. The war is over. Their constant fighting done with the outside world. For now at least. When they get all their big ships working again the fights we reignite.

"If I didn't know any better I'd say you have some Asari in you Shepard. Aleena herself would have struggled surviving what you have." She squeezes his hand. He returns the gesture.

"If I didn't know better, I'd say you were trying to break my fingers just then." Exaggerating, she pulls her hand away, cradling it. "Ow." Her pained expression can barely hide that cheeky smile.

"You're fine Shepard." His insistence is joined by a short laugh from her. Go ahead and keep laughing. Laugh forever if you can. Just keep on laughing, because it means your still alive Shepard. The words almost spill out as the scars start to feel more prominent. He tries not to look at the cut on her right shoulder. Red eyes barely tear themselves away from the grey metal showing up along her lower neck. "Aren't you?"

There's the question. Despite all the mental reassurances, he's still unsure how well Shepard is in reality. Orrin said a coma like that, it can cause more problems then just muscle deterioration. Even recovering from that has taken her weeks. Those same legs that had carried her through countless battles. Weak human or not, Shepard had never been fragile. At least not physically. The closest he's ever seen her get to losing it was when she was facing down the Cerberus scientist that had a hand in killing everyone on her old team. Even then she didn't hesitate. He had encouraged her to do what she felt was best back then. Don't let that asshole try and tell her what really happened. She had been there. She watched them die. It was a burden only she carried. Yet she still chose to let the law handle things. The dead are dead. There's no saving them, so had she done it to save herself, Boone, or the scientist?

Pain breaks through her smile. The forced façade shatters into pieces. Standing here and now was painful for her. Wrex can tell now. "I'm fine Wrex." Her smile grows a little sadder. The corners of her mouth falling ever so slightly out of their practiced places.

"I thought I told you before, you shouldn't lie to my face Shepard." This was supposed to be a safe place where she could feel at home. Why was she still trying to hide the pain? The kid's not even here!

"Trust me Wrex. I'm not." Then why does it feel like a lie? "But I'm curious about when you got so good at it?" She leans against the window sill. Head slightly hanging out it, as she faces away from him.

Wrex standing across the room: Do I need to fight him Shepard? Cause I will. Just give the word and I'll beat his ass before throwing him out the airlock

After completing Wrex’s quest in me1

It’s not just armor, it’s your grandgrandfather’s armor! Shepard, have some respect!

( I was just messing, didn’t put that much effort in the drawing, but dammit! I now want a fanfic, in which Shepard was enslaved by batarian pirates in quite younger age and then saved by krogans and raised by Wrex... Do you know something like this?)

Garrus names his spectre ship after Shepard

And so it’s not that obvious, after her first name and very little people understand.

Imagine Shepard is MIA for some time, Garrus got back to Palaven and finally became a spectre.

Ship is something the whole crew prays to, cause it’s so new and good and never fails them.

Ladies talk with the crew.

Crew:So, what’s about your better half?

Garrus: Well, I believe there’s only one half. And I’d already had mine.

Crew: So, spectre, whats her name?

Garrus gets up from his seat knocks on the wall and heads to the CIC.

Wrex is occasionally on the ship, cause Garrus has spectre bissuness with krogans.

Wrex: Well, as you name the boat, so shall it float. Shepard had also got through a lot without a scratch. I wonder, what would Shepard think about Hierarchy ship named after her?

Garrus: Probably she would find it tastless... And throw a bottle of booze at it. She tried to do this with the Normandy, you know?

Shepard:What the heck, Garrus? Is this a thing when you name your pet after your ex?

Garrus: But what do you think about a damn ship named after you?

Shepard: It depends.. By the ship standarts, is this ship pretty?
