My entry for @wttt-week day 1: Table News. “5 Points.”

Inspired by the lovely emails I get from DOGE at work. 🙃 I wondered how each of the States would react to being asked by a sketchy quasi-government agency what they did last week, and this is the result!

Contains a random assortment of news stories from the past couple months (I started working on it in early Feb and THINGS KEPT HAPPENING 😂)

-“5 Points”: inspired by my own experience in recent weeks. In case you are unaware, at the beginning of the T**** administration, when Elon Musk first took over DOGE a.k.a. The “Department of Government Efficiency,” he immediately set out to target Federal Employees as useless and lazy. He spread rumors that Feds do nothing all day and began sending out super patronizing emails making us list “5 points” we do every week. As if we aren’t already held accountable at multiple levels already 🙄)

-Musk’s “5 Points” email demand plagued by bounce-backs, clogged inbox

-Yosemite park rangers protest DOGE cuts by hanging upside-down flag from waterfall at park

-Legislation proposing to designate the Texas Almanac as the official Texas State Book

Florida’s comment is in reference to the fact that people playing War Thunder occasionally end up sharing classified government secrets in game group chats 😅

Ok so I didn’t really have any ideas for this other than Western PA, sooo I have some art and some yaps so enjoy :]

anyways so I live in the western part of PA which is kinda second thought compared to Philly and I thought it would be silly to basically have the different reagins of PA be different people :D

Btw Pennsyltucky is basically all of PA minus the Philly and Pittsburgh areas

This one has some New York regions as well. The one who’s frozen is western New York and the one laughing is The City also ignore that i spelt hershey and pennsyltucky wrong
