💥A Year In Yarnbombing🎉 I created this slideshow using some photos of my favorite yarnbombs from 2016. It is a lot of fun to watch a year go by in yarn! While creating and watching the slideshow though I've come to realize a couple of things. 1. I am seriously addicted to yarn. 😛Seeing all of the knits & crochet put together is a little overwhelming. 2. I have some truly amazing people in my life. 2016 had some craptastic moments (see first Purple Rain Prince tribute photo) but really I'm walking away from 2016 with a lot of new friends. I met some very talented fiber artists speaking at the @mnknitguild Annual Picnic and at @knitshop.rockinghorsefarm seminar. I had the joy of working with the beautiful @mncommunity ladies again and I met more amazing women at the @girl.creativemsp event as well. Yarnbombing a life size horse for @junkbonanza was a hilarious and super fun project and I also had the privilege of creating a #standwithpp yarnbomb for the @plannedparenthoodmn clinic in Uptown MPLS. There was that forest themed #YarnBus that took 9 months to create w/ @kathygraul28 from @metrotransitmn and then a dream came true and I was a featured artist at @vogueknitlive where my YarnBus made a guest appearance! I taught a lot of fun fiber art classes at both the Boys and Girls Club & @kiddywampus and had a blast teaching feline lovers how to make cat friendly cat toys at the @catfestmn. To top off a great year I was asked by the MPLS Downtown Council to create custom yarnbombs for the @holidazzlempls, a favorite winter event of mine since I was a child. I want to thank you all for the love and support you've given me over the year. Yarnbombing is a very weird thing to do no matter how you look at it but it's a lot of fun and your sweet & funny comments only encourage me to create more. So really, all this fiber art nonsense is your fault! 😜 Thank you for a great 2016 and I look forward to an even better 2017! Much love, Knitteapolis (at Minneapolis, Minnesota)
