I’m gonna be very real with you guys... my relationship with IG and this page is changing (long caption coming). Over the past many months, I’ve been going through a lot of inner shifts and transitions and naturally, when that happens, your outer world shifts too. I took a week off from IG about a month ago and when I came back, my engagement tanked. IG is unforgiving like that. But what I noticed first was how much stress & anxiety this drop of engagement caused for me and how much of my own happiness I place on my follower count. I’m working on detaching (it’s hard). I also realized that I lost my why, my purpose behind my posts and why I’m on here in the first place. Don’t get me wrong... I’m SO grateful for everything I’ve built & all of you on here continuing to support me. But at the end of the day, the thing that matters to me is what I’m leaving behind & how I’m helping you along the way. None of the perks of having a big following matter if I’m not doing this. I want this to be a space of upliftment & inspiration for all of you that offers a place of connection, passion, & excitement to find freedom and joy in your lives as I share with you pieces of my journey that I’ve found to have done the same for me. I’m no longer interested in teaching just the physical part of a yoga posture. I want to connect with you on a deeper level and encourage a deeper level of healing through yoga & meditation. I’m still working on really honing in on my purpose on here and in my biz... but all I know is that as I figure it out, my content will be changing to reflect a more authentic version of myself (ex. less tutorials, more life). Anyways, this has been a big portion of my thoughts lately & I wanted to share...
