.r.emember that sometimes pain = gain... but not always. . After spending time at @spottedmoosefarm getting ready for the growing season, then a hefty week of landscaping and training and finally helping to put up a kitchen nook roof with @dannydanger33 for @cofoodyvr ... and my body was telling/screaming at me saying I needed to release some tension.... . I, like many, ignored its quiet request cuz I was "busy" and "tired" and shortly thereafter my shoulder decided to speak up, and then my rib slipped. . Ow ow ow... . Shoulda seen it coming.... . Pecs tight, L. Hip tight, low back tight... and PING... excruciating pain, reduced mobility and function.... . So finally on Sunday eve I some Yin yoga with @jodee_hayes in squamish and then did a full 1 hour session of meditative breathwork along with using these crushing beauties and finally I can breathe, twist and use my arms overhead again. . Don't forget selfcare!
