Zorin OS's auto-brightness feature has this bug that I like to call "Brightness Runaway," where, if it's semi-dark in the room you're in, loading a webpage with a Light Mode UI will throw enough light onto you (and the things around you) that Zorin OS will think it suddenly got brighter in the room.

That causes the auto-brightness to raise itself, which causes more light to be thrown into the room. That causes the auto-brightness to think it got even brighter, which causes it to raise the brightness even more.

The brighter it gets, the more auto-brightness tries to raise the brightness, and the more auto-brightness tries to the raise the brightness, the brighter it gets, so eventually you end up sitting there like:

i really like to think that ,when she's not working, Zorin Blitz has a completaly different personality that only a few people know about.

Like She's still confident, hotheaded ect...

But she's shy With new people, or pretty girls, (lesbian Zorin needs to be canon) then she's pretty fragile mentaly,She can easily get a break down or go on a rampage,It depends the situation and Who Is She With,i feel like She can't control her emoticons very well (if She DID She would have not ended up like that in episode 7, but Who are we to Blame her? She was ecxited and wanted to commict Mass mur***ed)

Hans olso tends to take care of her in some way, i Like to think that he's the One Who decided that She would be a GREAT soldier, (he really Just Met her at the bar She used to work in during a Mission or some shit, he then started to see her as a best friend and decided to "save" her After She got deadly wounded, She Just so happend to be bodybuilder (might write her backstory in another post in the future)

So yea, Hans and Zorin are best Friends,he sees her a bit as his sister and they like to train togheter, he """"tell"""" her to not push herself over her limits during the training,She dosent listen

Plus, the only thing that She dare to show in public during work, Is that she's very sweet and caring actualy, She grew up as the second oldest of 6 simblings so she's used to take care of people, image your Crazy ass superior Who Just Beated your ass,insulted your WHOLE family tree and gave trauma to you and your children's grandchildren gest worried about you, heal your wounds,ask you if you're ok,lecture you about being more carefull in Battle ect...

So a recent update just straight up killed my hard drive, the guy I had repairing it said he's seen this problem a few times with Windows 11 computers, so fuck it Linux Zorin now. The main impediment to me updating now is getting Scrivener running--though I have got it running, but I can't seem to activate my license.

I think the problem might be here, but I don't really understand Linux well enough to understand what the problem might be or how I fix it, and most of the forums discussions I'm finding online are not written for beginners...

Any chance anyone who follows me here has a clue?
