listen to me, this is so so important: you've gotta get used to really giving it your 60% as a default. like don't half-ass it necessarily but try not to go over 70% or so of an ass. you'll feel better and live a happier more fulfilled life, and on the rare occasions where you do need to lock the fuck in you'll be able to pull off bullshit that the sad miserable wretches giving it their 100% can never dream off, because they're busy draining themselves dry and you have energy reserves to spare.
This is actually what I was adviced to do at the work rehabilitation program I went to. Hasn't left my mind since. 10/10 solid advice

This guy knows what he’s talking about. He’s one of the lead writers for Leverage and if you ever watch the series on DVD, do yourself a favor and listen to him talk about how the scripts got written. Some of the advice he has is stuff I use all the time: 1. Don’t introduce an important plot person or thing after the first half of the story. 2. Always tie up loose ends. 3. Introduce important things in the middle of unimportant things. 4. If you have to infodump, find an emotion to tie it to and it will seem less like infodump and more like a motive rant. Seriously this guy knows how to write.
platforms punishing users (eg removing icons on Tumblr) for not safe for work content or hiding posts behind id or facial rec walls (bluesky and discord now ig) makes for an interesting incentive to just never tag or provide warnings on any media you post with adult themes
The last of the Quick Sale commissions! This is Kaiser Jaeger for @taokyi I love him ok???
Technically true.
He got the job.
He takes his job seriously.
Prof Rad over on youtube dubbed the Wolf Hunter comic (click here)!
Go check it out and give them some support! :) (also the end killed me haha) ₍ᐢ•ﻌ•ᐢ₎
The farmer sheared the sheep, and it was used to make a gift for Wolf Hunter, so…
Wolf Hunter goes to the village markets.
Wolf Hunter and his conga line of sheep.
Wolf Hunter was looking for them for a while.
Not a werewolf.
The disappearance. 🐑
The worst snowman.
As you know, counting sheeps is perfect for sleep. Sheeps take that job very seriously. But some are still learning. It’s fine, I don’t think Wolf Hunter minds. 🐑🐑🐑
Watch with VERY CUTE AUDIO here!:
either the activity should be called brooming or the object should be called a sweep. you can't have a unique word for each. utterly reckless waste in a language with limited phonemes
So I started thinking about how Mew could possibly learn every TM, HM, and Move Tutor move; and one thing led to another.
I’m sorry (I’m not sorry).
So I kept thinking about it for ten years.
This silly picture of Mew I drew a decade ago ended up becoming by far the most popular thing I’ve ever done, and I still see it make the rounds on the internet to this day. When I realized the anniversary was coming up for it, I wanted to commemorate it. I feel like I’ve come a long way since then, both personally and professionally. I was aimless and struggling financially at the time, and now I’m back in college getting my life on track, training to become a professional animator. In a lot of ways, this silly doodle helped that happen, so if it’s put a smile on your face at any point in the last decade: thank you. I wouldn’t be here without you.
