Reminder: “Distant Worlds” was originally Garmau’s song before Aarmau stole it in MS5.

Worse: The song Distant Worlds was used for Aarmau in MCD Season 2 episode 33, just after Aaron saved Aphmau and the kids from the Demon Warlock's pocket dimension; nobody remembers it though because the conversation afterwards, where the song took place, is overshadowed by the cutscene of Aaron using the Realm Breaker to rescue Aphmau and the kids.

Thusly, it was in fact Garmau's song first, but then just a few weeks later Aarmau snatches the song and runs for the hills

It also shows up in Dreams of Estorria. Not in any shipping context I don’t think, but interesting none the less!

Also also it shows up in s1 mermaid tails in an explicitly Aarmau context but that’s probably way more well known lol

I have a pet theory that irl Jason proposed in some way with that song and that’s why she uses it how she does.

(I also think it’s worth noting that Distant worlds is used in the context of the Garmau dream sequences *several* times, though it’s fainter in the subsequent scenes it is fully the theme for all of them) (I wonder if them getting fainter means something…)

being black in any art community is such a strange feeling cause you’ll see just blatant racism being expressed in others art and you have to just casually ignore it, for your sake if anything, colorism being something that’s just fundamentally there in every artist and you deal with it cause it’s not worth it in the end to even think of it too hard let alone even mentioning it, it’s definitely something
