Legion of Super-Heroes covers by Yasmine Putri
Pierre Bonnard (detail)
In a Voltron team made up entirely of Jane Austen heroines Emma Woodhouse would be the blue paladin & that’s all the thought I’m willing to give that crossover
Okay that’s a lie Lizzie Bennet would be the red paladin and Leroy Jenkins the fuck out of EVERYTHING upon being given a gun but other than that I’m not putting ANY MORE THOUGHT into this crossover
Thinking about this again… Voltron but it’s Austen heroines would be so powerful.
ok HUGE fan of this and seconding these placements

This is one of my husband’s favorite short stories. He quotes it from memory. I’m pretty sure he can recite the entire thing from memory.
This is a tremendously impactful short story and every time I see it, it serves as an excellent reboot button for my state of mind.
